Nothing could have prepared me for this novel. Nothing could have prepared me for the emotions that wrecked havoc on my soul as I read. IF you are reading this you damn well better have read the first three books in this series. If not, turn back now and go do that. RIGHT NOW. I knew the minutes I started reading that the ball was going to drop and it was going to be brutal.IT was. I won’t lie. It was dark and it was twisted and there were so many moments that I just screamed while I was reading. The Elite Kings broke me and it is going to take so much to put me back together and the way this book ending I just don’t have words.I haven’t recovered from it yet.

One legacy. Multiple lives involved. A lifetime of consequences. Nate Riverside-Malum vs Tillie Stuprum. Who will come out as victor? Who'll be left standing after the game reached its crescendo? The Elite Kings series is an intricate woven web of tales where nothing and no one is what they seem. Malum part one is book four and is so much more. Whereas Bishop is quietly intense, Nate for me wears his heart on a sleeve yet shows his raw and true side but only and only when it comes to his true loves. Content? You ain't seen nothing yet! Even though I saw and felt some stuff that was going to happen fairly soon (for me) it still felt like a brick to my heart and soul. You'll be craving more and be utterly destroyed.... ... but you'll enjoy every second of this ride. Sanne - Scandalous Book Blog

This book is everything I wanted to see from the Kings! After reading "Malum", Nate became my favorite King! We see bits of his relationship with Tillie in the previous books, but I really needed a book just for them! Nate's feelings for Tillie are deep and that's the reason he reacts so intense when he sees her again. He's hurt and tries to act cruel and cold, but at times his feelings resurface and he's getting softer. He feels that he can't trust her and with good reason. The fact that Bishop is once again two steps forward is kind of creepy! Tillie is not one to play his games. Her rough childhood hardened her against these situations and she pushes back, and that makes him even angrier. The second half of the book is a total mind-fuck! Too many things are going on, secrets are being unveiled, and people that were supposed to be dead resurface! The cliffhanger at the end messed with my mind and I so need the next part like now!!!

5 freaking beautiful stars!! I’ve loved Nate and Tillie since The Silver Swan and I was all too excited to finally read their story! And I was not disappointed! It was so twisted and devious! I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that fast before! I would absolutely recommend this book book if you like dark twisted reads!!

5 Mind-Blowing Stars Review by Leah Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog What in the holy heck did you do to my brain, Amo Jones?!?!? I read the Elite series right before I read this one to make sure I was on track with this series. They had been in my TBR stack for a while now and now I cannot figure out why I waited so long. I read all four books in one week. Malum 1 was an all-nighter. For one WEEK, everything stopped so I could be buried in these books. I could not put them down. Even when I HAD to put them down my brain would not stop thinking about the books. Malum 1 by Amo Jones is Nate and Tillie’s story and Amo Jones ripped my heart out right in the middle of the dang book. At two o’clock in the morning, I found myself bawling. Amo, you have killed me. Nate and Tillie have some work to do in this book. Nate being Nate, good gracious that boy will drive you insane, you just wanna stab him in the eye at times and then there are times you want to eat him up. This story is a roller coaster where the story slowly goes up and up and up and you wait page after page, click after click of the roller coaster and then WHAM your stomach drops out because the roller coaster just drops you, completely lets go. Please make sure you have read the Elite Kings series before picking up this book. It is book four of the series and you will need to know every little detail. There is no skimming over pages, you have to dive into these books. I NEED MALUM 2 STAT!

WOOAH!! my heads in a bit of a tailspin at this moment starting with that finale. This was a head twist of epic proportions and I can honestly say I have no real clue bar the slightest sliver of what is actually occurring here. Up is down, left is right and what's real is so not what you ever think. Everything is a game that somebody's forgotten to sit down and explain the rules to and if you think the first three books were abounding with manipulations and agendas well this one is also just as evil and twisted as its predecessors. Don't understand? well take a number and get in line because I'm stabbing in the dark also here. Nate himself seems to have done a complete 160 in regards to his obvious personality here or at least in what he outwardly projects to others. Gone is the jokey charmer from the first three books and in his place is well someone I don't actually recognise: on top of this certain thing that occur in this instalment quite obviously push him further down that path of no redemption totally changing Nate beyond all reckoning. This book completely gutted me, chewing me up and spitting me out it was just so heart-wrenching and raw. So this is actually the fourth book and whereas the first three, we follow Madison and Bishop "Malum" continues the story of Nate and Tillie who we were introduced to previously. And as we have come to expect from this new-adult series the boundaries when it comes to the behaviour of the individuals involved here seriously follow there own set of rules and regulations. So this is again told from dual POV and you do really need to start at the beginning here with book one "The Silver Swan" otherwise you will most definitely be running around like a headless chicken trying to make head nor tail of things. It's dark and brutal with more twists and turns than a fairground coaster, it's also safe to say once you embark on this crazy train you will be onboard for the duration so addictive is the ride ahead of you. I am now gagging for Part two really can't wait I need it right now considering that corker of an ending. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Malum: Part 1 (Elite Kings Club #4). All opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

WOW! Well this was the first book I read by Amo Jones, and well few authors has ever left me in this state. I can't believe what I just read in a very great way. What a brutal story, with all kinds of twists, heart ache and torment. I think I will need a few days or weeks to process it all, but this is fantastic! I am so reading the other books. Nate and Tillie are a couple I will never forget, the trigger warning at the beginning got me more curious than ever, now I know why and well even though it wasn't my normal reading, I think I just became a fan. I am so reading part 2 but in the meanwhile will be reading the previous books. Kudos to Amo Jones she is such a refreshing story teller.

Amount of sex 4 / 5 How explicit is the sex scenes 4 / 5 Story 5 / 5 Overall: 5 / 5 Malum: Part 1 is the fourth book in the Elite Kings Club series by author Amo Jones. This was the first book in the series that I have read, and I have to admit, I was a little confused. Overall, I was able to follow the storyline, but I didn’t understand the backstories. Therefore, I highly recommend starting the series from the beginning. I am planning on reading the first three books then going back to reread Malum: Part 1. I have a weakness for dark stories, I guess it’s a bad boy thing. But you need to be aware that I wouldn’t necessarily call this book a romance. Also, there are many triggers within, and I strongly suggest that you read the author’s introduction at the beginning of the story. Malum: Part 1 is heartbreaking, emotional, and utterly captivating. I was on the edge of my seat, trying desperately to hold on through all of the twists and turns. Let me tell you, the cliffhanger almost did me in! I’m not sure I’ll be able to wait for the next book! Thankfully, Part 2 is expected to be released in June 2019. This is a definite add to your TBR list! Voluntarily Reviewed an Advanced Copy

his is Book four in the Elite Kings Club and part one of Malum, and concentrates on Tillie and Nate and baby Micaela. As always nothing is simple and always expect the unexpected with an Amo Jones book. We visit with the old gang, who are plaining to rescue Tillie and Nate’s baby girl who is being held by her older sister Peyton. Well it was my misfortune to visit with the Kings and as I have a somewhat warped taste I enjoyed my trip immensely. I am now salivating for part two to find out what happens. I have say I would recommend reading the first three book in the series, otherwise you will be lost. Also this is not suitable for under 18 years old, even then they may triggers.

4.5 stars for - Malum: Part 1 - book four in The Elite Kings series by Amo Jones. Brace yourself for one intense, emotional and sexy ride by the Queen of WTF! I honestly feel this is some of her best writing to date and hope Part 2 answers all the questions to all the things (at least in only the way Amo knows how). This is Nate's book and for those who think he was the sweet and funny guy we got to know from Bishop/Madison's stories you don't have a clue what we’re dealing with. This book picks up soon after the crazy ending in book three and while you could technically start the series at this point I highly recommended starting at the beginning and working your way to this current book just to be familiar with the inner workings of The Elite Kings. Tillie is back with more questions than answers not knowing who to trust or where to turn. With Nate and all the Kings out for blood she is only worried about her little girl not at all caring about past legends or long lost Kings. Can’t wait for Part two next!

I waited for Nate and Tillie's story so much! I loved them in the previous books, so it was a pleasure to jump into Malum only... I didn't expect so many things, kill me! And so many questions, I have so many questions... Amo'd better answer them all in the 2nd part! It was great for me that we didn't have too much of Madison and Bishop, because they have their books, and I just wanted a book about Tillie&Nate so much and I got it! Everything was so twisted between them and I got a story, moments in these books that had me sitting and rereading some parts over and over again, because whaaaaat? Amo never fails to shock and surprise me. What I noticed a lot, was how mature this book was. Tillie is clever, doesn't play those little games, she's responsible, knows what she wants, knows her value. Won't let anyone to push her around. She's strong, she's an example of cleverness and power. She's a QUEEN. I adore her. The fact that I finshed this book... I want more, I don't want the end of her story, because Tillie has become one of my favourites heroines. The things she went through.. it's unimaginable for me and I can't comprehend how she holds it together. I also have so many questions as to WHY Amo did this to her. Nate though, he's different to the previous books. He was funny, handsome and charming, here not so much. He is full of hate. BUT when it comes to THIS ONE thing in particular.... he is so responsible, sweet... was making my heart melt. I'm giving him a big applaud. Because I wasn't expecting this from him and here we are, he was so... amazing. And apart from this... I don't know where the old Nate dissapeared. I didn't understand him most times. What where the reasons behind his behaviour, hate. He surprised me many times, when you think you have him figured out, nope, something comes out and it crushes your vision of him again. So in the end you know nothing about him. Partly, I like it, partly I not, because Nate is so mysterious and I really, really want to finally get to KNOW him. :) And the end of the book... What was going on? :D What is going on with this whole story? I really thought I knew a lot, but the ending made me think I do not. I'm expecting answers in the next book! Please! :D Because I don't know what was planned and what wasn't. I also don't know Nate, but you already know it. :D I want more of his POV chapters. And they better be big chapters. The whole story intrigues me. There're so many mysteries, so many things we're yet to know. The whole role of the Elite Kings boys, the Lost boys. Perdita. Everything is mysterious and still knew, something I've never read about before. It keeps me interested, intrigued and I really want MORE, MORE, MORE! This book is written at a higher level than I expected. It's AMAZING. I cannot wait for the next beautiful, crazy books. And the answers to my questions. :D

4.5 stars There is a thin line between love and hate and with Nate and Tillie, that line becomes blurred. Malum is a dark, twisted, and an emotionally gripping read that will keep you on your toes. I loved the hard core Tillie as she is a survivor, strong, and caring - she has been through so much in her life. She loves Nate deeply, but he is cold one minute and full of smoldering heat the next. I really liked Nate, but I had some trouble connecting with him in the beginning. I think it is because there were not as many chapters told from his POV. I love the intensity between the two of them and the complexity of their relationship. I also enjoyed seeing more of Madison and Bishop and I am deeply intrigued by Brantley. I hope that he gets his own book! Malum is full of secrets, lies, and betrayal. The author throws in so many twists and turns that I never knew what was coming next. There were a few scenes that ripped my heart out and left me gasping and crying. As this is Part 1 of Nate and Tillie’s story, there is a doozy of a cliffhanger! Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long for Part 2. This is book 4 in the Elite King series and the previous 3 books must be read first in order for Malum to make any sense. I received this book for free and I voluntarily leave this review.

***5 Stars*** Duuuudddeeee… Now THAT’S my kind of mindf$%^! This is the kind that pulls you in from the start, gets a firm grip on your throat to make sure you don’t lose focus (not that I needed any help in that area...cause, OM...!!) and then leaves you emotionally exhausted and yet bouncing around like Tigger needing another fix. That’s where I’m at because Nate and Tillie, and all the psychotic crazy that is the world of The Elite Kings, were simply addicting. I started and I didn’t even bother to stop because I had to see how everything with Nate and Tillie played out and they lived up to my expectations and went beyond. I adored them both going into this, so all this book did was make me love them even more ~ even when I wanted to reach out and Gibbs smack them. They are loyal to a fault, stubborn as all get out, and despite everything, have huge hearts that feel too much which, of course, makes things go sideways. Their push/pull, love/hate thing gave me whiplash, but there is no denying that they should be together because they are truly the only ones who have the strength to accept the other as they are. I knew going into Malum that the crazy would be intense, heckI even welcomed it, but I didn’t expect it to hit that hard, so bravo Ms. Jones, you killed it. This one had it all and then some. Of course this is only Part 1 and with the way it ended, I can only imagine the ride you’ll be taking me on in Part 2 and cannot wait to get my hands on it! Notes: 1) This one does end in a lovely little cliffhanger. 2) It can be read as a standalone, but you really should read the first three books, just because. 3) Triggers. Triggers ALL over the place. You have been warned. ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~

What did I just read, I was sucked in from the very first word but by the end had been chewed up and spit back out and left hanging for more. Craving another fix from the dark twisted mind of Amo Jones!  The Eliete Kings are back and this time it's Nate and Tillie's story and hang on cause it's not a happily ever after kinda story. I admire Tillie I think she's my new favorite heroine. I have a fascination with these guys and I can't get enough of them. I need the next book like now and can't wait to see what comes next! Amo you have successfully blown my mind and made it impossible for me not to rip someone's head off after reading this book and the way it ended! Bring on the next one!

This series keeps getting better and better and with every book you are drawn further down into the intriguing world of the Elite Kings. Malum is no exception. This story was intense, riveting and will completely blow your mind. I was hooked on each word from the beginning and was left screaming and yelling for more by the end. One thing I love about Amo Jones characters they are all complex yet well-developed. This is Nate and Tillie's story. You will get whiplash from all their back and forth love/hate banter but you will not be able to turn away. Be prepared to see different sides to Nate in this story and Tillie is now my favorite Amo heroine. I loved her fearlessness, strength and intelligence. What can you expect from this book.....a roller coaster ride of emotions, hot AF steamy scenes, more mystery and secrets being revealed, spine-tingling and heart-wrenching moments, twists and turns around every corner and that's just the tip of the ice-berg. There's so much more I don't have enough words to accurately describe it all. And then there is that ending. WTF.....OMG......I'm still stunned. To say I loved this book/series would be an understatement. I'm obsessed with it and after what I just read I don't see that obsession fading anytime soon. It was well-written and layered and a down-right phenomenal read. Worthy of more than 5 stars and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Yeah, finally Nate’s story, and what a crazy, whirlwind story it is. He was dark and as unpredictable as expected but little explanations are let slip to explain his actions and thought process on life. And Tillie is as strong as ever, her intense out look keeps her going and will not let Nate get under her skin. Nate is the guy you just can’t ignore, he’s hot and he knows it which makes him kind of a jerk but you’d take him just the same. Loved this edgie, deeply intense, extremely dark part 1 from the Malum duet. It’s nail biting extreme moments will have you gasping, and still leave you wanting more. It’s twisty, it’s addictive, and I’m definitely going to be reading the next instalment. I highly recommend this book!
