I really enjoyed this book. Not only did it show step-by-step easy to follow instructions on how to draw cute little Chibi boys, girls, and creatures, but also how to draw the ever popular catgirl. I would recommend this book to those who are just starting to find their way through the Manga realm and trying to discover what's the most popular in Manga today.

This book helped me soo much with my drawings! Some of the cat girls aren't cute, but most are! They even have a section on expressions for chibis! I was in awe! I recommend this to anybody who needs help with their chibis or cat girls!

i got this book and it helped me alot! But Christopher Hart, alot of catgirls have the ears on the top of their head! that's how i draw them.... and alot of the chibis were great but some of them went a little overboard by making the lip jut out from their face, it has its place, but not very often do you use it... because it makes the characters more ugly and less attractive to the audience you are presenting it to.... but it really does make a great refrence for anyone who already has some how-to-draw kind of books and knows how to draw already! (its a good reference) this just goes over how catgirls and chibis act and where to use them. And in the back it tells you where to use them in comics or mangas which was a real help to me in my second year of drawing mangas! yup yup! but if you are interested in why people turn full sized teenagers into little preeschoolers or why do people fuse cats and humans together (my mother's Question)this book has the answer for you i enjoyed it, so how about you!

i think this book is soooo great! Even my dad uses it! i think its funny that when im using my book to draw for fun, he takes it to his office to use it for his work! he says 'now that you have these books our art is better!' Its proud & funny! Because my dad does freelance work on web sites and he was already great.

This book was great! In this book you will find chibis, cat girls, and monsters. The chibis are REALLY cute!!! In this book You can find everything you need to know about these lovable characters. Their face, their expressions, their outfits... The cat girls are pretty neat too. The monsters were ok. Some were cute but others just looked strange. Overall it's a pretty good book.

I cannot believe this book! It is the best I have ever read(not that have read many)! It helped me to become a LOT better at drawing chibi, but I thought the cat girl drawings were horible(except for 1 or 2). The chibi people were SO CUTE!!!!!!!

An aspiring artist in the family wanted a Manga style drawing guide and this one filled the bill in every area but one. The drawings covered a wide range of character styles, were well drawn, and not dumbed down in the way many beginner books are. The only reason I did not give it five stars was it should have had more detailed examples of basic drawing tips for beginners in how to construct forms and specific features of Manga.

Who would've thought that a drawing book could be funny? This book has cute, lively pictures and some humor mixed in. There are some minor instructions that are missing, but it's well done. I highly recommend it to any age range and any skill level of artist. It gave me some great ideas! NOTE: There isn't much attention on the eyes or hair, so make sure you know what you're doing in those areas.

This book has helped me understand the proportions and use of these super deformed cuties more commonly known as chibis. This is one of my favorite books in the series and I find myself wanting to buy more Sketchbooks because of the manga mania series and I still use magazines to help me draw from life. I found this book to be of excellent quality and informative for those of us who love to draw in the cute variant of anime and manga style characters. Books like these inspire me not only to draw manga but also to be a better artist as well.
