Wow! Wow! How am I ever going to say goodbye to Malcolm Saint? While I’m devastated that Malcolm and Rachel’s story is done, this book was the perfect ending for them. Panty-melting, heart-warming, and happily ever after! At the end of Manwhore, Rachel is devastated, she had let herself believe, just the tiniest bit, in having a future with Malcolm. Once her real purpose for contacting Malcolm in the first place comes to light, that belief is shattered. However, she is desperate to give Malcolm an explanation, but he is out of her reach. She is so broken at the beginning of Manwhore, it made my heart hurt for her. At the same time, I was a little annoyed with her. Malcolm proved over and over that he was changing for her and by not trusting him, she belittle the gestures. I certainly couldn’t blame Saint for cutting her out. At the same time, Rachel completely redeems herself to me eventually. She does have loyalty and a backbone hiding in there and it finally shows up. Amazingly, it is Saint who gives her the courage to stand strong, with her need to prove that she has the characteristics that Malcolm values the most. Although, I did have a moments when I wanted to smack her. Here Saint is giving her another chance and she still doesn’t trust him 100%, believing in his ability to have a lasting, monogamous relationship. Malcolm Logan Preston Saint. Swoon. I could just leave it at that, but I won’t. I admired Saint in Manwhore as I watched him take a leap and lower his walls for Rachel. He exposed the real him, his vulnerabilities, and was ready to be a one-woman man. However, it is in Manwhore +1 that he truly blew me away. There have constantly been examples of his compassion and true heart, but I was shocked when he surrenders to his compassionate and loving side, and gives Rachel another chance so quickly, despite his anger and hurt. He gives her the opportunity to earn his trust back and even if he hadn’t, he would have still protected her. The surrounding forces working against them are very well plotted. Katy always builds her characters so that you grow to know them, to feel the emotional connection, whether it is love, or hate. Even the secondary characters become real to the reader, they are just as complex, we just don’t get into their heads the way we do with Saint and Rachel. I love the little details that make them so real, talking about small things like the Chicago Cubs. This wasn’t necessary to the story, it would have still been great without it, but the brilliance in it, is that it grounds them. Makes they personalities “normal” for lack of a better term, it’s the mundane things that make them real. The chemistry between Saint and Rachel is hot as hell. The heat was blowing right off of the pages and steaming up the room. You might want to grab some ice water of a fan. Their relationship is also built on their personalities though. The things they have in common, or the things that complement each other. They clearly have fun together, in and out of the bedroom. There were times when I was a little afraid that they might not get their HEA, but I held out hope since Katy’s ending have always left me with the warm fuzzies. I shut Manwhore +1 with that beautiful feeling, however it was laced with sadness that the book was over. To be honest, I went right back to the beginning of Manwhore and read them both again! #nerd My hope is that Katy will continue with this group as a series and we’ll get to see what happe

At first I wasn't exactly excited about these books. Boy am I glad I went back and reread the first one. I spent my entire vacation reading their love story and i would gladly do it again.

I loved Sin and Saint! While this book was not as hot and filled with building sexual tension, it was filled with love and longing and just how far two people will go for each other. Malcom and Rachel got their HEA. And Malcom Saint is very much drool-worthy in soooo many ways. A great read not to be missed. !!

Can I just say that I am super happy that Saint is back? I think he is my favorite dominate guy of the year! This book picks up right where Manwhore left off with Rachel having a meeting with Malcolm after she was outed at the end of the first book. From there it goes on an amazing journey of trying to trust one another and where they end up is simply amazing. I can't wait to see what Katy has in store for us with the next book!

Heat records are being broken all around the world, is the cause global warming, or Malcolm Saint? If you have to ask, you sooooo need to pick up Katy Evans’ Manwhore series and a pair of asbestos gloves. Manwhore +1 the second book in the series finds the powerful, magnetic billionaire playboy making even more demands on Rachel, demands she cannot possibly meet. His look is no longer warm and twinkling with a devilish spark, but cold, hard as ice and Rachel is dying inside and out for what she has done to him. Can she prove to him she really loves him and she is so, so sorry? Can they get over her deceit and trickery? When the less than stellar magazine Rachel works for is facing a buy-out by Malcolm’s devious father, Rachel must decide what her future will hold. She is forced to make an emotional decision that will help others, but crush Malcolm in the worst way. Is Rachel still the woman she was before falling for the man behind the ruthless, manwhore legend or will she finally go for the only man she will ever love? Katy Evans’ Manwhore+1 is an erotic romance that is part fantasy, part heart-melting romance with enough heat to boil liquid nitrogen. Yes, the intimate scenes are completely swoon-worthy, but it’s the connection between these two that shines through. Deep, strong and yet so fragile for each of them, they each traverse their fragile tightrope in their own fashion. Ms. Evans has created the ultimate romance, a strong and powerful man who has always played the field because the one thing he fears is opening up and baring his true self, a man who is used for his wealth, position and wants so much more. She then created a hardened business woman who is a romantic inside to break through his armor as he breaks through hers. Add the world going away when they are together and it is every romantic’s Katy Evans knows just what buttons to push to draw her readers into this tale, think shoot out at the OK Corral if it were held in the steel and glass skyscrapers of Chicago, with the beautiful damsel standing strong beside her man, the man she uncovered beneath the cold heart. I received an ARC edition from Gallery Books in exchange for my honest review.

Omg!!! This book was steamy. I read this book in 13 hours and the reason it took that long was because I got interrupted a few times. I hope Malcolm and Rachel make it. I'm looking forward to Ms Manwhore

I’ve been dying to get my hands on this book since the wicked cliffhanger at the end of Manwhore. I was also a little concerned Malcolm would go back to his player ways and all the progress of the first book would be lost. And, really, that would’ve ruined the whole thing for me. I had no desire to read about him with anyone other than Rachel. Thankfully, my fears were unfounded. After finding out the truth about the article Rachel was writing, Malcolm spent more time being reckless and adventurous than hopping beds. Manwhore +1 was, more or less, exactly the continuation I wanted for Rachel and Malcolm’s story. Now, I’m not going to tell you details, because it’s all best experienced for yourself. It was just angsty enough to be believable without being overwhelming. The sexual tension in the beginning of the novel, as Rachel and Malcolm are reunited for business purposes, is INTENSE. Malcolm’s relationship with his father comes into the forefront here, but doesn’t overshadow the story between Rachel and Malcolm. The drama is great, but the romance is even better. The sexy times? So. Freaking. Hot. Rachel and Malcolm have incredible chemistry – in and out of the bedroom. This book had me swooning all over the place. It also had me overheating from time to time. I liked the progress both characters made. Where I was lukewarm to Rachel in the first book, I was anything but in this one. I liked how she took ownership of what happened with her and Malcolm. She wasn’t whiny. She just wanted him back and would do whatever she could to prove to him that she was trustworthy. Malcolm was wonderful and swoony and hot as could be. Manwhore +1 doesn’t end in a cliffhanger. In fact, the ending was quite satisfying – and there might have been a few happy tears. However, I’ll still be chomping at the bit waiting for the next book, Ms. Manwhore. Is it October yet?!

Manwhore +1 by Katy Evans picked up where Manwhore left us hanging and salivating for more. When we left Rachel and Malcolm Saint, he had learned the truth and she had her heart crushed. Now they are both alone and miserable. She needs to prove he was never just a story to her and learn to trust in herself. And he needs to come to terms with his hurt feelings, his loss of trust and decide if what they had is more important. will love conquer all? Can Rachel prove to Saint she IS worthy of being his +1? Because really isn't that every girl's dream, or your secret dream becoming a Manwhore's +1? Being that one girl who was able to tame that sexy man beast. The one who captured the manwhore's attention so fully that he reformed his ways and NEVER looked back! I just loved sinking back into this delicious book from Katy Evans. It is such an easy story to lose yourself in because it is just so well written - the words just flow around you and you lose yourself in their tale. This is a book you want to experience for yourself so that you can feel the emotions flow over you as you read the book. You need to feel lost with Rachel as she is without her Saint and trying to find her way back to him. You need to experience the sexual tension as Saint and Rachel meet back up and it is only business between them. That tension just explodes off of the pages! Watching them reestablish their relationship while establishing new boundaries was actually truly beautiful to watch. It made them stronger as individuals and then a a couple. And somehow made Malcolm even sexier - I know, who the hell would have thought THAT was possible! I most definitely recommend this book. If you haven't already picked up Manwhore you are missing out. No seriously! I am just sitting here, not so patiently waiting for someone to call DIBS on me! I received a complimentary copy of Manwhore +1 in exchange for my honest review.

I liked Manwhore +1 so much more than Manwhore. Rachel didn't frustrate me at all in this book, now that she finally knew what she wanted. All the characters in general were much better in this book. I liked this storyline quite a bit more than Manwhore. Malcolm and Rachel are really good for one another. Rachel brings out the "saint" in him (well some of the time) and he helps make her feel safe and helps her step out of her comfort zone. I felt much more connected to them as individuals as well as a couple. The ending was really sweet and happy =)

I've been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this book since March. I never thought the wait would end. Manwhore had me hot, bothered, and on edge through out the book and left me that way at the end too. I was hoping Manwhore +1 would give me the resolution I was looking for and it did. This part of Rachel and Malcolm's story was well worth the wait. I fell in love with both Rachel and Malcolm twice, once in each book. I loved Rachel for how quirky she was. I loved her desire to get not only forgiveness for what she'd done to Malcolm but also to make sure she did right by him. I was intrigued by Malcolm. What was he thinking? Did he forgive her? Was he looking to get revenge for what had happened? I had hoped we'd be able to get his perspective in this book, but it was still from Rachel's point of view. That turned out to be a good thing because it kept me on my toes. Getting in Rachel's head again allowed me to experience her anxiety about what was happening in both her personal and professional life. Everything was up in the air for her. Things were really coming to a head for her and Malcolm. She was so anxious. I understood why she was so concerned but I felt like all she did for the majority of this book was worry. Towards the end I was like, "Enough with the worrying already!" Malcolm was less of an enigma in this book, but it took me a while to figure out what his motives were. The two of them had insane chemistry and it was really interesting to watch them try and figure out what they were comfortable with. Malcolm seriously made me swoon. I loved how he was with Rachel's mother. I also loved how he was with Rachel and their friends. Malcolm seriously stole the spotlight from Rachel. I was expecting angst while reading this book, but I wasn't expecting to get emotional. I cried towards the end of the book. Just to clarify, they weren't sad tears, but still, this book made me cry. I was all in with this book. I went in with high expectations and Katy Evans met them. I may not have gotten the high level of angst I was expecting or lots of drama, but the story was true to Malcolm and Rachel's nature. I can't say I'm happy their story is over. I'm eagerly looking forward to the novella featuring these two coming later this year and I sincerely hope Tahoe and Gina have a story of their own coming in the near future. Those two have become too close for there not to be shenanigans between them.
