A Dangerous Hope
I can't remember the night that produced a brutal set of photos the media and former college "friends" won't let me forget. No matter what I do, I can't escape the shame and harassment… or the threat of more degradation to come.
I grew up in the spotlight, thanks to my famous father. I know what it's like to be surrounded by phonies who will betray you for their personal gain. From the moment I see Abbi, I can't stop thinking about her. I'm not the relationship type, but she needs a boyfriend to help fend off the gossip, and I can play one for the press to help protect her from the vicious comments…
There's nothing made up about the desire sizzling between us, and I really want to explore it. But a bond built on fear and faking it can't possibly lead to happy endings…
Perfect for fans of the Kendall Ryan, Carly Phillips, and A. L. Jackson, Many Sounds of Silence and the rest of the Seattle Sound Series take readers on an emotional, sexy journey of hot men and their feisty women who are transformed by courage, self-sacrifice, and love.

Many Sounds Of Silence is the fourth book in the Seattle Sound series, but it can be read as a standalone. This book is my first book by the author and I never had the feeling that I missed information about the characters. I will read the previous books in this series one day, because I loved this book. Abbi changed university because something horrible happened to her at the other university. She hopes this year will be different and she is very focused on studying. It doesn’t take long before someone bothers her, but Clay saves her. They talk and become good friends. They both have famous parents and know what it means to be in the spotlight. They both don’t like. They discover they have more in common than they thought. I loved Abbi and Clay. I loved their friendship. Clay is such a great friend. Abbi hasn’t had a friend like him before. She trusts him. She’s attracted to him and eventually wants to be more than just friends. Clay isn’t the relationship kind, but he wants to try for Abbi. He’s very protective of her. Clay is a sweetheart. He’s caring and friendly. He loves his family and his music. I can’t imagine the things that Abbi has been through and is still going through. She doesn’t deserve a thing that has happened to her. She is a nice woman who is a perfect student. She becomes stronger. I was so happy that she has met Clay and his friends. She deserves all the love she gets at the end. I also loved the secondary characters. Clay has amazing friends. His band mates also protect Abbi and believe her. They don’t care that her stepdad is famous. I loved Nessa and Jenna the most. They become great friends of Abbi. They believe her and always have her back. Jenna is so funny and had me laughing multiple times. I hope that the author will write a book about her!
Alexa has done it again with her book Many Sounds of Silence. Alexa has brought truth and hardships that plague our youth into a great story College students of musicians meet. Both have trust issues for different reasons. Read their story and see if they can make it or not as a couple.
