This was a sweet Christian romance - but the spelling was atrocious. Whoever handled writing the story-text did not put a lot of care or consideration into it. I was very disappointed.

Almost impossible to read. Paragraphs full of grammatical characters. Had to quit reading, it was giving me a headache. What happened to spell check? A one sstar is more then this deserves.

Sorry for being so offensive but I was attracted to the premise, and all the time I thought the book would get better, and I want to spare others the agony. The book was unrealistic, underdeveloped, and excruciating. Even for a book that is obviously for escapism and the 'fantasy/ideal' alone, it was awful. Truly, truly, terrible. As a woman and a human being I was offended by all of the characters and their uninteresting, sheltered-people problems. Read Jane Austen instead.

The conversion to the nook was not good. Had to guess at a lot of words.

Would have given this 4 stars but some parts of the book are hard to read because of spelling and other mistakes. What ever happened to reading what you typed?... The mistakes are really easy to see if you would have scaned the typed page. I dont know how this many mistakes could have happened gee use spell check.

I read this book when I was much younger. It inspired me then and it does now. A sweet romance with adventure thrown in. Not a boring read!

I also love Crimson Roses, Duskin, and The Girl From Montana. Lone Point, Not Under the Law, The Red Signal, The Mystery of Mary, The Obsession of Victoria Gracen, and Because of Syephen are also very good books.

The book has a great pure romance along with some vemon. It would been excellent if not for the large numerous errors and typos.*sigh* The typos. There are alot of typos. Few i couldnt figure out. It seem that they had some mechine scaning the word but did not check themselves if the book was correct. @3@

I read this years ago and have a library full of her books. My Mom and I read them all the time. The Enchanted Barn and Marcia Schyler were 2 of my favorites!! It's a great clean story! It is very predictable; but so enjoyable!! I was so glad to find so many of them for my Nook and for either free or for a dollar or less!! Carolyn :o)
