Sam Kercher is every inch a wickedly hot Marine. Tall. Sexy. Lethal. When his best friends call in a favor, Sam is forced to face an entirely new line of duty—playing nanny for their newly divorced sister and her squirming seven-month-old twin boys. If Sam can disassemble an M16 in his sleep, diaper duty should be a cakewalk…right?

Unfortunately, Operation Nanny isn't quite that simple. Sheridan has sworn off overbearing military men, so Sam must protect her from her dirtbag ex without revealing just how much he has in common with her brothers. Or that he's been ordered not to touch her. Ever. Problem is, Sheri's one hell of a gorgeous woman, and Sam wants her bad.

Protect the girl. Care for the babies. Hide his identity. And keep his hands off. But even the most disciplined Marine has weaknesses...and Sheridan is one Sam might not be able to resist.

Each book in the Front and Center series is a standalone, full-length story that can be enjoyed out of order.

## HILARIOUS. Omg, I found myself laughing so many times throughout this fantastic book. The scene when Sheri is in her bedroom pleasuring herself while Sam is in the kitchen trying to put out a fire had me in stitches. This was a perfect escape read. Let all your problems melt away and enjoy this irresistible story about a beautiful, sassy but slightly quirky heroine and a total hottie Marine. Their chemistry was undeniable. I am so looking forward to Mac's story and I sincerely hope it involves Kelli. She was a hoot and a half. Not only do I highly recommend this book but will also be reading it myself again.

I was stuck between laughing hysterically and snorting in agreement. Sheri's constant harping about being a "normal mother" hit home. It took having just one kid to realize I was a normal mother, that "normal" is defined by me and my husband, not books or advice columns or anyone in a Mommy and Me club. I loved that Sam and Sheri knew each other before, even if Sheri's memory of Sam isn't as sharp as his is of her. Their chemistry is amazing, in and out of bed. Sam's role as a nanny to her kids was seamless; I guess having all those nieces and nephews helped him out in a big way, lol. And I can appreciate Sheri's brother Mac's wanting to protect her from her no-good, cheating ex by hiring Sam to be both nanny and bodyguard. His intentions were good and I can't fault him for that. He's an older brother. In real life, aren't most older brothers the protectors of their younger siblings, especially if they're girls? Ms. Fenske's written a realistic love story rife with emotions, secrets, family interference, and lessons needing to be learned. But it was all worth it when Sam and Sheri got their happy ending, complete with love, laughter, and dirty diapers.

Maybe not the best book I've ever read, but surely one of the funniest! I'll probably read it again and I'm definitely going to get the next book in the series. Right now. The ending is hilarious and right in keeping with the character of the book.

Not bad but not good enough for me to want to reread over and over. Mostly because I was irritated with the lead female and her constant harping about being a, "normal mom." If it weren't for that I would have given it another star. I get that she is a first time mom and unsure of herself but she listened too much to what others were saying about raising kids. Here is a friendly tip; Do yourself a favor. If you are a first time mom. Do not read all the child rearing books. They will mess you up. Read what your obstetrician provides. If you plan on breast feeding, read the instructions that come with your breast pump. You would be surprised how informative that thing is about breastfeeding. Stuff my Lactation Coach did not bother explaining. Like the fact that not all babies know how to suckle so you may have to train them using your finger until they properly wrap their tongues to cause suction. So, be an adaptive mom. That is my best advice because each kid is unique. Raise them to the best of Your ability. You are gonna make mistakes, that's life. As long as you learn from them, and your kids know you love them, you will do just fine.

Just OK... Not much substance and not very believable..., Could not generate enough interest to move on to the next in the series... A book I could easily put down and walk away from... Nothing to keep me glued to the pages... Sorry...

When I saw the cover of this book on Netgalley, I was intrigued; once I read the blurb, I was hooked. I had no idea that this book had been released with another cover back in February under the Brazen imprint by Entangled publishing. It wasn't until I was marking it on Goodreads that I even noticed. Honestly, I like this cover so much better. It was what drew me to read the blurb. Basically, we have Sam-the-Sexy Marine and Sheri-the-Spitfire Single Mom. MacArthur, Sheri's older brother and Sam's best friend, has asked Sam to play Nanny or Manny, as the case may be, to keep an eye on Sheri. Sheri's ex-husband has been giving her some trouble lately and big brother wants someone he can trust looking out for her. Sam has crushed on Sheri since the guys were in college and reluctantly agrees to keep Mac's assignment secret while on leave. But Sheri hates liars: "Lying is the absolute worst thing. Worse than riptides and parking tickets and pubic lice combined." This book has unexpected funny moments, told from both Sam's and Sheri's perspective. Although some of the best ones were when Sam was dealing with the twin boys, such as likening changing a diaper to cleaning an automatic weapon. I knew the deception was going to be a critical point between the characters. I wasn't wrong, but it was wrapped up in a twist that kept this trope fresh and interesting. Book 2 will be MacArthur's story and I can't wait to see him get his meddling comeuppance. I enjoyed this and gave it 3 stars.

In Marine for Hire Tawna Fenske set-up a remarkably entertaining tale about a newly divorced mother of two and an undercover marine posing as her manny. Sam Kercher has participated in a lot of missions during his career, but nothing prepared him for Operation Nanny. Mac’s sister's ex-husband is harassing her; so he calls in a favor, enduring she is protected while he is away. Sam knew the day would come that he would regret owning Mac a favor – today is that day. The favor is to watch over Mac’s sister, Sheridan, and her twin sons. “Just for a couple weeks. I’ll find her a real nanny when Limpdick’s out of the picture. Oh, and there’s one other thing.” Sam raised his eyebrow, resisting the urge to remind him that just one catch had already morphed into more. Mac folded his arms over his chest again. “Keep your hands off my sister.” This is a great pick me up story that is light, humorous and well-balanced. The foreplay and dialogue have this reader looking forward to future stories. I highly recommend this for fans of wickedly, sexy, military men.  Disclosure: This book was provided to me free of charge for the sole purpose of an honest review. Funny, hot, and sexy! A great read that had me laughing. The characters are awesome - so likeable. Who wouldn't want Sam for a manny or Kelli as a BF to "make brownies and drink bourbon and insult penises" with? So looking forward to the next book in the series.
