About the Author
Sang H. Kim is an internationally respected author and star of over 100 martial arts instructional DVDs and videos. He won the 1976 Korean National Championship and was named Instructor of the Year by the Korean government in 1983. As a special agent during his military service, he developed tactical combat methods for hand-to-hand and hand-to-weapon combat for covert operatives.

This is a very easily read book with good food for thought. I was very surprised at what I learned not just on finding a balance between my body slowing down at 40+ and the desire to still train hard but thing things I wish I had learned earlier. The book should have been named 'Martial arts for the Mature Artist' since it's teachings is for those who have wanting to advance past just the physical aspects of training. There is much direction given for both physical and philosophical training.
