About the Author

Fred Skolnik is the editor in chief of the 22-volume second edition of the Encyclopaedia Judaica, winner of the 2007 Dartmouth Medal. He is also the author of two novels: The Other Shore (2011) and Death (2015). Writing as Fred Russell, he published two novels in 2014: Rafi’s World and The Links in the Chain. A collection of his stories will be published by Fomite Press in 2017.
