About the Author
Graciela's expertise is in the field of early childhood, bilingual education and Primary Years Program of the International Baccalaureate. She has a B.A. in Modern Languages and a Master degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Austin.
After a successful career, she decided to take her vision and knowledge one step further, focusing her efforts into writing a program for teaching English and Spanish to young children. As part of the program she also developed a series of picture books, which incorporate an easy vocabulary suitable for preschool and lower primary grade students. The books have a special charm with original illustrations that have a keen way of developing concepts such as self-esteem, cooperation, friendship, respect and love among others with a very multi-cultural character base.
