A Sexy Historical Romance
Praise for the Scandalous Scions series:
If you are familiar with the previous series, I am sure you fell in love with the huge family like I did.
She is a go to author for me when I need a fix of historical romance.
Tracy Cooper-Posey takes us into the staid yet surprisingly bawdy Victorian Era where appearance is everything and secrets are held inside the family.
Thanks once again, Tracy Cooper-Posey, for giving us another great story and for giving me back my love of historical romances.
I love historical romances and this one filled all my likes, from a dashing, wonderful hero, a beautiful strong heroine, a love story to sigh over, side characters that are interesting, and funny, and move the story along.
I don't often give books five stars, but I really enjoyed the mystery that puzzled all of the characters in this story.
I found the entire extended family intriguing because they, the women in particular, are very aware and careful of what society will think, yet they often have made choices that are deemed semi- scandalous.
A wonderful story set in the Victorian era of such strict social conventions and yet the main characters are shimmering with latent sexual tension. What a fabulous juxtaposition!

I just love Bronwen!!! Her character cracked me up with her "I do what I want and damn you all attitude!" This book kept me glued to the pages even though I was very sick while reading it. If only there were thousands of books like this, so well written and good at drawing you in, I'd never do anything BUT read all day, which could be a bad thing, lol. Keep up the great work TCP, you have a fan for LIFE!!!
I voluntarily read an Advance Review Copy of this book. I love this series that revolves around the Great Family and this book is a great addition to this continuing sags. Bronwen has never conformed to the rigid expectations of the ton until she meets Tor and that is exactly what she has to do in order to be in his world. This is a great read and I would highly recommend it and any of the other books in this series.
I love it when a romance is more than just a romance that's why I adored reading the story of free spirited, unconventional Bronwen who meets Archeduke Edvard Christoffer of Silkeborg (Tor) who is bound by restrictions and responsibilities. This pair definitely have chemistry and there is a certain charm to their encounters, Bronwen is direct and honest which Tor finds novel and refreshing. All in all this was a well-written and researched Victorian romance, the descriptions were just enough to picture everything from clothing, scenery & landscape and the dialogue and scenes flowed perfectly. This author is a great storyteller and I loved the wit and humor throughout the book, I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader copy of this book.
This is the 4th book in the Scandalous Scions series. We again meet members of a large unconventional family during the Victorian period. This family believes in living as their heart demands of them; an attitude that during this period is not done and can ruin entire families. I love this group of people who dare to defy convention and will do what they must to protect their own. This story is about Bronwen, a young woman who refuses to follow the "rules" and Tor, a royal, who must follow them to keep his standing. She defies all to get what her heart desires and a passionate affair begins. The first awakening of her passion and his learning to let his strict rules of living go are eye opening for the both of them. But he won't defy convention and in order not to hurt her further leaves. Now, whether she likes it or not, her family must step in to help her become what his world demands. That's enough spoilers, just let me say their passion for each other is overwhelming and had this reader glued to the book from beginning to end. This entire series is filled with so much love for each other and family, that there is no way you cannot be emotional drawn into each story. I don't know about you, but for me a story where love conquers through the highs and lows of one's life and family is there to hold you up, is a story worth reading.
