About the Author

D. Leo Lund was born in 1948 south of Seattle, WA. He has lived in the Pacific Northwest for most of his life. He currently lives near the Oregon Trail. He has stood in the ruts made by the wagons going west into Oregon. He has travelled extensively throughout the West from the Mexican border to the Canadian border to the Pacific Ocean in his search for the character and spirit of the pioneers that settled this country more than a century ago. This fictional account of the Massacre At Broken Rock is his way of saluting the brave and valiant people who were a part of the greatest migration of human beings of all time.
He has also published poetry, music, and self-help books, nine at the present time, and holds over 75 copyrights for his music.
