This book is organized poorly. I would have rather the recipes been organized by course or ingredient rather than her various trips to the market (which were not seasonal.) Sprinkled throughout the book are sidebars and one-page essays on various topics -- these are quite distracted and would have been better suited to their own section and/or their own book. Very underwhelmed with this book.
We have another Chinese cookbook but this has such good instructions and helpful hints that we wished we had bought this one first. Love this cookbook.
