He is the author of Portraits (2001), Indian Larry (2006), and Hollywood Pinups (2008). He lives in New York City.
Jim Marshall was one of the great rock photographers of his generation. With more than 500 album and CD covers to his credit, his photographs of Woodstock, the Monterey Pop Festival, the Beatles' final concert, and the youth culture of San Francisco in the 1960s are among the most iconic images of the era.
