Absolutely excellent There is only one other book that compares to the expert advice found in Kit Woolsey's Matchpoints, and that is How to Win at Duplicate Bridge by Marshall Miles. These books are for the intermediate bridge player only, as they skip past the fundamentals and dig right into expert-level strategy and tactics. I like this book a lot, and have played bridge for several years, and am a director, and teacher. Woolsey tells you up front that you probably won't agree with all his ideas, but they will definitely make you think - and therefore improve your matchpoint decisions.
