As I saw him on demonstration on the TV show entitled 'to tell the truth', I was amazed on how he went far ahead of the calculator. I said to myself that I have to have this book.
This book is fascinating. Complementary Math lets you multiple numbers quickly and accurately. Like one of the reviews mentioned it would be nice if an explanation were included. I'm still trying to figure out why this works. A way to do cube roots and a way to figure out the day of the week for any date are provided. Both rely on some memorization of a few base facts, but are interesting. And not awfully complex to do.
This is an excellent gift that anyone can have. If you are a math maniac like me READ THIS BOOK its wonderful.
