This is a great book for the classroom.  Students love reading the poems together and it helps motivate math learning for those who need to see a different perspective of math in our lives.

Chapter 21 Marys POV- I got up the next mrning for church. I put on a gray sweater and black pants. I rode my dads truck there. I ran into the church. I sat down in a pew right next to Jason. He smiled at me. Then the pastor told us to greet one another. I stood up and shook his hand. That same electric pulse went through me. I then greeted sevral others and sat down. Me and Jason held hands as service began to start. For some reason Jill wasnt there today nor emmet. After service i went to the great hall. I sat next to Jason and drank coffee. We talked and laughed. I then drove home after that. I got changed into a orange tee with blue jeans. I put on my boots and waited ouside. Then jason pulled up into my drive way. I walked to him as he got out. "So ya ready for our date?" He ased smiling. "Yep, so where to?" I replied. "Into the meadow" he said pionting. We walked into the meadow holding hands. We stoped at the center of meadow. We sat down. "Did you like me when you first met me?" He asked. I thought for a minute. "Yes, you were my dream guy" I admitted. He smiled. "And you were my dream girl" he confessed. We both paused. He then leaned in closer to me. I did too. His lips were so close to mine. He then kissed me. His cool minty lips touched mine. He then backed off. We were both smiling. "Can I ask you something" he said. I nodded. "Will you kiss me?" He asked. I leaned in and kissed him on the cheak. He smiled. "There, you all good now?" I said back. He nodded. We walked back to the house still holding hands. He said his goodbyes and left. I then went inside to my room. "That was amazing!" I screamed. I got in my pjs a the sun began to set. I ate a T.V dinner and then went to bed. Again no dreams again. Maybe because my life was a dream. I then woke up the next morning. I put on a blue tee. I then put on black jeans. I ran down stairs and ate a poptart. I but on my shoes then grabbed my bag. I then waited for Jason.
