Practice Exercises in Basic Math introduces selected mathematics concepts and computational skills that are customarily taught on grade level. These concepts and skills are presented in a simple, slow progression, using carefully prepared examples, and followed by exercises to develop them. Periodic reviews, including word problems, help students reinforce these skills. Level F of Practice Exercises in Basic Math addresses the most fundamental skills and concepts that students in grade 6 are expected to master. The book may be used independently or as supplementary material to a basal text. It is also appropriate as remedial work for other levels.
