I read "Chameleons" first which was the book after this one. This one was no way as good as "Chameleons" and was very disappointing.

The premise of this book is that events of the past cause a huge rift between the main characters in the present. The unnamed conflict is huge and insurmountable. As the book progresses we discovered the entire history that caused the problems. At the end - miraculously - all the past is overcome and everything is just fine. I felt a bit let down overall. The book had lots of good bits, and was worth a read, but is definitely not a keeper.

Katlyn and Jared's love story was sweet but Jared had some emotional baggage that kept him from trusting and admittting he loved Katlyn. He almost blew it...
