This was an entertaining story filled with love, humour, and dealing with loss. A perfect opposites clashing, finding common ground and then together building more.

I was somewhat surprised to learn that this author was writing a book in the Brannigan brothers series, because of her previous books dealing with military operations. But since Max was a former SEAL, it made sense. I love how each author links the intentions of the dead father to the needs of each of his sons. I look forward to meeting the loves of the next two sons.

I really enjoyed this book about Max and Ellie. Good character development. Liked that there was a link to Ms Harris other books and character Ian Black. I have read several of this authors books and will definitely keep reading more by this author. I have loved this whole series of the 7 brothers. mjw
