My name is Captain Kevin. I am a Park Ranger at Riverside Park and I am going to tell you the tale of Max the Giant Kitty.
Max was a big awkward guy. He and Sissy were twins but Max kept growing and growing and growing long after he should have stopped growing.
Max was a big cat, awkward and kind of shy but always very protective of his little Sissy.
Max didn't like being so big. He always felt that he didn't belong with the other cats.
He couldn't fit into the cat tunnels or the cat beds. He even needed a special cat food dish so his face didn't get stuck in the bowl.
One day Max and Sissy were walking home from school with their good friend Polly the Pug. A large group of feral cats stopped Max and Sissy on the sidewalk.
Max and Sissy knew these cats from the park where they played after school. The leader of the cats was Nero and he had been a bully since he was a kitten.
