The hilarious stories in this nostalgic book recount the pranks, pratfalls, and antics the author and his friends indulged in growing up in Ohio during the 1950s and '60s. The feelings, memories, and friendships from that period--along with the various rites of passage, political and social upheaval, and music--all contributed to the strong, enduring emotions associated with coming of age in America. From flatulence fables to stories of road trips, dating disasters, and camping adventures, Me Am Writing Book is a collection sure to resonate with anyone who survived junior high and high school!

About the Author
Mike Jones was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, the scene of most, if not all, of the stories recounted in his book. Jones graduated from college in 1972 and moved to California, where he’s spent the last 40-plus years. He and his wife, Betty Olson-Jones, have a grown son, Kevin. Currently retired, Jones and his wife spend significant time at their “franch” in Jackson, California, raising wine grapes and making wine, and tending to their house, orchard, olive grove, and four Siberian huskies. Me Am Writing Book is Jones’ debut novel.
