About the Author

Raised in the San Juaquin Valley, third generation Californian. Adults years in Northern California. Married. Judi was an unwed mother in the sixties and later in life she became a survivor of suicide. Profession is hairdresser, colorist, and salon owner in partnership with daughter Dana. Judi retired, took extensive writing lessons to write about the dark side of life in the sixties, suicide, healing and her quest to find answers about the spirit world. She is author of four books: The Third Floor, Dreamscape in A minor, Meadowlark, and Rita's Road.

The story of an ordinary woman, a young widow, whose life takes an extraordinary turn when a strange child enters it. How this woman finds the courage and resilience to literally save a life, while living her own life, and raising her own daughter, and finding romance and new love on the beautiful California coast forms the plot line of this novel. But it is filled with scenes of the beauty of everyday life, with fascinating characters who come into her life and become an integral a part of it, and the ups and downs of an ordinary life that contains an amazing secret. All in all, an lovely read.
