About the Author
Graduating in 1996 from Cambridge College with a Master’s in Education, I wanted to teach creative writing as a therapy. Fortunately, my academic pursuits changed when my first grandchild was born and I was asked to be part of her care. Over the next several years, seven more grandchildren would be added to fill in the gaps of my life. When those little ones went off to school, another wonderful opportunity would present itself: That of a hospice volunteer. These were truly the best of times.
