This started off very good and after reading the free sample I purchased the book. Unfortunately right after that it was full of very random thoughts, promiscuous episodes. She abandons her 2 year old in an orphanage, has a relationship with a married man and so on. This is not the story of love and survival you think. I wish I could get my $4 back! I feel for this woman's children for the shame they surely feel.
Oh my mom was an English war bride.. the story is good. There was nothing in Britan after the war. Mom came to a desert to marry her yank. So homesick they were together 60 years.
