About the Author

Pastor James L. Gates III, affectionately known as “Jamie” is a native of Neptune, New Jersey. As an adult he received salvation proclaiming Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. In February 1998 he accepted the call to ministry and became a licensed minister. He was the Pastor of the New Hope Baptist Church in Toms River, New Jersey until his untimely death. His mission was to always show love and compassion to his fellow man despite their struggles. He used his platform as a way to reach the masses and let them know no matter how many times they fall God is available to pick them up again. Cherishing his precious memories are his wife Willette, his children Arianna, Jaime, Jalen and his bonus children Keyona, Tyheem and CJ.
