This is a great book for those who want to know the exercises without the embarassment of asking. It covers every exercise on every machine whether you have them available or not. It gives you sample workouts and even ways to shop for and successfully use your gym membership. While tips on the diet part leaves much to be desired, it is well worth the price for the plethora of information it gives on the exercises, weight lifting and cardio alike. Not only does it describe the motions in simple terms, it gives you step-by-step pictures and an explanation of all the muscles in the body. (you don't need an MD to understand it) If you want to start exercising, have the motivation, but don't know the moves, I completely recommend that you purchase this book. It is, hands down, the ONLY book you will ever need!
