I first want to say Merger is not a standalone you do need to read Acquisition and if you haven’t got round to reading it yet you need too, this is a must read duet!!!! Merger picks up right where Acquisition finished and once again I found myself drawn to the characters, I was hooked from the first page, book one left us on the edge of our seats but book two more than makes up for that cliffhanger. Antonio Forte is a man who has always put business before relationships and pleasure but that was before he meet Lauren Bradley and at the start of this book we get to see just how far he is prepared to go to find Lauren who has become the most important person in his life, but once again Chelle Bliss doesn’t make it easy for these two to get their HEA they still have a few twists and turns to get past before they reach the end of their journey. I loved the characters and I loved the plot and I really hope we get more from The Forte gang because I really think everyone of them has a story to tell. Amazing read that I would highly recommend.

I very much enjoyed the conclusion to this duet. We got to see, in my opinion, a whole different side to Antonio and I loved the growth that developed in Lauren. The story was wonderful!!

This book is not a standalone. So if you have not read the first book in the series you need to do so. WOW!!! let me say this book was better then the first. When I had finished the first book I was screamer at the author not to end it there. She truly left us on the edge of our seats. Trust me when I say this is a story you want to finish. My heart truly broke for Lauren Bradley. I can not imagine the fear she must of felt. She was a strong woman as we all could tell in book one but her strength, courage, and smarts will be tested. Here she finds herself kidnapped by someone she never thought would due such things. Now her life is in danger and she need to what she can to stay alive. I can not imagine the helpless, the desperation, and the fear Antonio was feeling when he found out the woman he loved had been taken by her crazy ex. I love Antonio’s determination and his take charge attitude. Not only did he manage to use his skills to put the ball rolling in a secret rescue mission on trying to find Lauren but he was working on keeping both of their company’s from falling apart. This was a huge weight on his shoulders. Boy, I was so surprised who was a backstabber. I was not expected that person to be the mole. Just WOW!!! I just loved Maverick. He is such a loyal employee of Antonio’s. I truly hope to see a future book on him. Me personally I would like to see him put together with Cassie, but that is just me. One thing I loved about this story is us getting to read about Antonio’s family and Lauren’s first meet with them. OMG, you could not help but fall in love with each other them. I even liked Stefano who was Antonio’s brother who was a Mafia boss. Oh, please tell me we will get to see a future book on him. Antonio truly shows what an amazing man he truly is in this story. The sacrifices that he makes all in the name of love is truly amazing. I think I said in Book 1’s review that I loved how Antonio knew how to live outside of work that he did not let his work define him. He believed in living life and embracing what came your away. We get to see him doing his best to teach Lauren those lesson threw out this story. She has a lot to learn, the question is will she embrace what is right in front of her. This truly was a great story and there are some parts that will make you laugh, some that will make your heart break into, and some parts that will sweep you off your feet. Truly a story worth reading.

My Rating: 4.5 Favorite Quotes: The last place you should be is in that hostile work environment… Babe, it’s like the Hunger Games without the shiny weapons. “It’s still so weird that there’s two of you.” Tara’s eyes move to Antonio and back to Stefano. “I don’t think I’d like someone walking around wearing my face.” I love when this man speaks to me as if we’re in a romance series on the Science Channel. My mother gave me the best advice just after I married your father.” She glances out the window, staring off into the distance. “She said to never go to bed angry. That was her key to a happy and long marriage… When that doesn’t work, she said to drink plenty of wine. My Review: Merger is one of the sweetest romances I have read from Chelle Bliss. I enjoyed this engaging read and adored this alluring couple together - they were sexy and intriguing. Written with a dual POV, the narrative was full of heart and insightful inner musings. The storyline was predominately a romance with elements of suspense, erotic sensuality, drama, and a considerable amount of clever humor.

Firstly if you haven't read the first book in this duet, Acquisition then stop right now and go and one click; it must be read before you read Merger. After the cliff hanger in Acquisition I was anxious to see of Chelle Bliss could keep the momentum going with Merger and be assured she certainly did. What a fitting conclusion to a great duet. I really loved the characters of Intersteller Corp. CEO Lauren Bradley and uber Alpha Antonio Forte , the CEO of Cozza Industrie. Antonio and Lauren are both strong, decisive leaders and a perfect partner for each other. Merger is fast paced and full of great chemistry, sizzling attraction, suspense, drama and intrigue. I was on the edge of my seat, totally riveted from start to finish with Merger, I really couldn’t wait to see how this book would conclude . I highly recommend both Acquisition and Merger and they are both on my favourite list of 2017 reads.

I loved this short 2 book series. Easy read. Chelle did a great job keeping the story moving. I loved the strong female main character. Recommend Merger but you need to read Acquisition first. Everything I have read by Chelle Bliss has been great so jump right in.

This book picks up from the cliffhanger of Acquisition. In this book, the merger finally takes place, after some miscommunication between Antonio and Lauren. Now Antonio wants to plan a life with Lauren, but all Lauren has known is a life dedicated to work. Things changed towards the middle of the book after Lauren visits Italy and meets Antonio’s family. I really liked the ending, but it almost felt like it was a different book compared to how the book had started. Still, it was a good HEA.

This is the second book in the Take Over Duet and wowzah what a ride! The book picks right up where the cliffhanger from Acquisition left off. There is excitement and intrigue right from the start. I fell in love with Antonio right along with Lauren. The man is the ultimate book boyfriend! I sighed and swooned and wanted to keep Antonio for myself. The road Lauren and Antonio traveled together is bumpy and there are actions that are tested and questioned. Secondary characters are introduced that added much to the story and I really hope this turns into a series because those characters would make for an awesome story. I laughed, I cried, and I rooted for them. The story is sexy, funny, captivating and romantic and I didn’t want to put it down. I don’t want to give anything away because it is better to go in with the unknown to experience the ride that is Merger. I truly loved it and I really hope there is more. Yes, I am repeating myself, but it’s worth repeating. If you like romantic suspense, give this duet a read.

What can I really say about this story that hasn't been said already? Its great, amazing and an attention grabber right along with page turner. I love the fact that this story picks up right where the first one left off at. The same characters are back and even better. The way that all the characters mix together and the little twist that they all take part in makes you read the words even faster. I loved Antonio he just made my head spin and how could you not fall in love with this man, after all the caring and wonderful things he does for Lauren hell even right at the start of this story, he just goes to show he will move heaven and hell to find his love. Lauren you really love to hate her this time around with all those feelings she has and the way she fights with herself over little things. These 2 together are like a steamy and romantic bomb waiting to go off at any given moment made reader so much fun. Much like the first story you got were introduced to the characters and watched the interaction between them, this time was holy smokes hold on to your seat ladies and gentlemen your going on a hott ride; they really grew together, less about business and more about them as actually people. This story is one you don't want to miss out on reading, but due to the way this one starts off you want to read Book 1. When this story ends and how it ends could have been different, I feel like it skipped a big part between the last 2 chapters. I was confused and had some questions but all in all it was still amazing right down to the details on every page. MUST READ!!! **I received this ARC for free in exchange for my honest thoughts, I was in no way told what to write it's all me**

“You’re mine, Lauren, and I’m yours. I’ll do what’s necessary to make you happy, no matter the cost.” Merger is highly anticipated follow up to Acquisition. This book picks up right where the last one left off and totally hits the ground running. Merger is heart-pounding, thrilling and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Antonio and Lauren have certainly upped their game and will keep you begging for more. I fell in love with Antonio in the first book, and let me tell you, this man does not disappoint. His love for Lauren knows no bounds. There is nothing that he wouldn’t do for her, no demons he wouldn’t slay. He would go to the ends of the earth for her. He is absolute perfection. And Lauren….I can’t even imagine the strength that she has. To endure what she has….Let’s just say, she is one tough cookie. I admire her heart, her determination and her independence. Together these two are an unstoppable force and I just couldn’t get enough. I enjoyed every moment of Merger. Merger is an exciting read with just the right amount of danger, suspense, and sexy good times. I easily devoured this book in one sitting. Antonio and Lauren positively captured my heart. I hope this won’t be last we see of this sexy duo….

This second book was just as good as the first, if not better. This book focuses on Antonio and Lauren’s “Merger” for both their company’s and their live’s. Lauren starts to get close with Antonio and his family. Lauren is thrilled with getting to know Antonio’s Mom since hers died when she was young. The ending is perfect, and let me just say that these two finally get their happily ever after.

Antonio Forte and Lauren Bradley's story continues in Merger, The Take Over Series Part 2. You need to pick up Acquisition and read it first as it ends with a cliffhanger. Antonio will do whatever it takes to Merge the two companies, Interstella Corp. and Cozzo, together. That is not the only Merger that he is interested in, but first he will use all of his resources to find Lauren and save her. Lauren and Antonio are powerful CEO's who mesh together beautifully outside of the boardroom. The intricacies of the Merger takes fold, enemies are taken care of, and life as they know it changes. The Merger is more about the lives of Antonio and Lauren outside of the boardroom. There are trips to the Antonio's island and visits to his family. Discussing their fears, wants and needs, and sharing secrets about themselves. With Antonio's help Lauren learns there is more to life than the boardroom. I volunteered to review an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I was given an ARC. This is my honest review. This review is spoiler free. This is the second book in the Takeover Duet. You MUST read the first book, Acquisition before you read this one. This book opens right where Acquisition left off. Lauren is scared, but looking for a way out of the predicament that she is in. Antonio is going to get her back. He will do whatever he needs to do to make that happen. Both characters are strong-willed and fight for their future. I like how Antonio takes charge of the situations that they find themselves in and he does it while keeping Lauren in mind. Lauren might have doubts and fears, but he does everything he honestly can to take care of her reservations. I like how the story unfolds. The feminist in me cringed at the ending until I took into account that it was what she wanted and that she was happy with her choices and wanted the future that she could see. I appreciate that she thought everything out about her choices and made the one that made her happy and gave her warm feelings about that future. Give this duet a chance. If you were waiting for Merger to be released then get on it. We find out who the mole is and we see some other shady characters. You get to meet most of Antonio's family and see more of Tara. Some fun times ensue in this book and you will get some laughs from the characters. This starts out with danger and ends with happiness and love.

Acquisition left Lauren in a bad spot and let me tell you, I was more than a little irritated not to know what was going to happen next, but now we know the rest of the story. What a roller coaster ride Lauren and Antonio have while they try to merge their companies. Awesome story full of twists, turns and some awesome family moments for the characters are mixed in there too. I Loved this series and I hope you enjoy it too.

Merger kicks off right from where Acquisition left us and as such really starts off with a bang and keeps up the momentum of you wanting to turn the pages to find out how everything will unfold. What I liked about this final instalment was that we really get to know more about our MC's, Antonio and Lauren. They are two super strong characters and watching their relationship and romance unfold was a real high point. Overall, I enjoyed this Duet. The storyline was a different to anything I've read for a while and it had a little bit of everything to keep you engrossed. - 3.5 stars I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher; there was no inducement or obligation.

This one picks up where Acquisition leaves off with Lauren being kidnapped by Trent and no one knows where they are. Antonio has his best guy searching for them because he will do anything to find her. Lauren can’t believe that Trent has kidnapped her, maybe she can because now that she thinks back, she is remembering weird things that have been off with Trent. And that now stands out that should have made her see that he was unstable. Will Antonio and this guy get to her in time? Will the merger go through? Can Antonio and Lauren have a relationship if the merger goes through? Who is the traitor that sold out Interstellar and why? You have to read this Takeover Duet series, it is so good, it will leave you wanting more. I loved everything about Antonio and Lauren and the ending was perfect. **Copy provided by the author and this is my honest review**

I loved everything about this book!! This second book in the Takeover Duet was the perfect complement to the first; the perfect second part of the story; the perfect ending. Things couldn’t have gotten more complicated in Acquisition. The relationship Antonio & Lauren started and the takeover of Interstellar by Cozza were quite messy and well rather complicated, and Lauren was in a very scary situation. Luckily Antonio was on top of all of these things and would not stop until he found Lauren and made everything right. What happens after that is nothing short of an amazing romantic tale. Chelle Bliss took each facet of this story, from the takeover/merger of their two companies to their merger as a couple, in the absolute best direction possible to make for a wonderful, super hot and sexy, and heartwarming read!

I have very much enjoyed this book! It kicks of immediately after the ending of the first book. We get straight into the action and i was so happy that we weren't made to wait till the end to find out Lauren's fate. It's quite fast paced to start so gets you addicted to the story in the first few pages. Antonio steps up a gear in the alpha ranks. He's totally badass when challenged and I loved the contrast to his sweeter loving side. He's become a firm favourite for me and I would definitely love to revisit him in more books. I found Lauren to be so much more vulnerable in this book. She was a lot softer and much more emotional. I found her so likeable, much more so than the first book. We get to meet Antonio's family this time and they were just wonderful to read about. Totally crazy too, I adored them all. Some interesting characters that I'd love to read more about. I'm really hoping we get some more stories set in this world.

Powerful and romantic are 2 words that come to mind when I think of Merger. Antonio and Lauren's story continues where Acquisition left off. Their connection is so easy to feel in this book...it's powerful and heartfelt because these 2 were made for each other. They balance each other out and as a team, they're unstoppable...in business and their personal relationship. I loved the family addition to this one, it really added the perfect touch and overall I thought this was a beautiful read! I definitely recommend this duet!

After being left with my mouth hanging open and my heart tied up in knots reading the last page of Acquisition, to say I was anxiously awaiting the rest of Lauren and Antonio’s story in Merger is an understatement. As if the heat between the two isn’t enough to incinerate the reader, Chelle Bliss pens her usual magic and has us falling even deeper in love with the Forte family, in the heart of Italy no less. If you are looking for a culmination of passion, suspense, and even a few giggles, Merger is the fictional journey to be on, after reading the first book in the Takeover duet of course. I could not wait to join Lauren and see her escape or be rescued from the danger that she found herself in at the end of Acquision. And just when you think things can’t get any more complicated or intriguing, Chelle Bliss shows her readers that there is always a surprise around every corner! Lauren shows once again her ability to rock a pair of high heels and be a CEO power house, and fight for her company! Chelle shows us that no matter how strong of a female you are, a woman will fall hard for the right man and Antonio meets all the criteria! Antonio shows us once again what an Italian stallion he is with a heart of gold! Chelle has given us yet another alpha male, delicious hero that we couldn’t possibly hate and will leave us salivating for more. Antonio not only has Lauren falling madly for him but our hearts beat a little harder and stronger for this man who talks a little dirty, treats his woman like a queen, and protects her at all cost! Chelle Bliss delivers a nail biting, panty melting conclusion to the Takeover duet that will have you fantasizing about hot CEO’s and their sexy times away from the boardroom. I highly recommend Merger for a suspenseful, steamy ride that will leave you breathless from anticipation! So grab a comfy seat, something cool to drink, and get ready for a bumpy ride filled with buttoned up suits, corporate secrets, and danger you never saw coming!

Merger is the second book in the takeover duet and it is definitely worth the read! I didn't want to put it down because I was so captivated by the conclusion to this story. Plus to see the change in Antonio and the relationship that grew between him and Lauren was amazing to read. You can't help but fall in love with the characters and of course the Forte family and their craziness. I hope there is more to come from this family!
