MESSAGES FROM THE LORD by Elder Carl R. King Jr.

Elder Carl Reginald (“Reggie”) King, Jr.

Carl R. King, Jr. was born July 15, 1963 in Harlem, N.Y. After his high school graduation in 1980, he continued his education at the University of Charleston, W.Va., Pace University, N.Y, New York, and Shawnee State University, in Portsmouth, OH, majoring in Medical Technology, Computer Science, and Sociology respectively. He returned to New York, working in the Wall Street District as a Junior Accountant. He is currently a Manager of Accounting in Hollywood, CA

Elder King, a licensed/ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc., was baptized in the name of Jesus at age 7, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost at age 12. He has traveled with world-renowned groups, choirs, and stage productions, performing in venues such as the Apollo and Beacon Theaters. In 1989, he submitted to the will of God, accepting God’s call to the preaching ministry.

Elder King remains active in youth & young adult projects throughout the United States, with a special anointing for working with young people from all backgrounds. God’s anointing has enabled him to evangelize, teach, and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the nation.

Elder King is an Associate Elder in his church, still spreading the unadulterated word of God. He’s also a bassist in the church band, a Sunday school educator, and one of the praise leaders. He also serves in the California District Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc. in numerous positions and ministries

Elder King has acknowledged that God has given him special gifts in the Body of Christ for His glory. Along with his wife Sonya and their children (Carleton, Chelsea, Nailah, and Nehemiah), Elder King continues to “…earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints”.
