One of the things that I liked best about this book was that it described some of the negative/manipulative communications styles--it was easy to recognize those who I have seen use these styles. It also provides PRACTICAL ways to communicates--this book is not all theory, like some other communication books. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to improve his or her communication skills. Very helpful.
Messages is a great way for people to reflect on whatever social issues they may not even know they have. It's a great way to learn the difference between possitively and nagatively communicating with people.
It was awesome being able to buy my school text book in NOOK format. Now I am never without my text which has made it extremely easy to keep up with my reading assignments. I have access at all times, on my iPhone, iPad, laptop and work computer. I wish more school texts would become available as Nook books. It would make my life so much simpler.
