This book "METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING COMPUTER SCIENCE" is prepared in accordance with the prescribed syllabi of the B. Ed Degree course of the various universities of Tamilnadu. Although plenty of books in computer education are available in the market, no book has so far been written meeting the latest requirements of the revised curriculum of teacher training programs. By virtue of its extensive and in-depth coverage, this book will help the reader's digest ideas and concepts of the subject across the curriculum and as such it will be highly useful to the students preparing for B. Ed examinations. This venture is the natural result of an attempt to fill up the gap in the realm of computer education which has been found to be widening with the passage of time in consonance with the rapid expansion of knowledge and consequent innovations in the development and transmission of the school curriculum for science. We have tried to discuss all related concepts of the subject in order to make this attempt effective enough to cater to all relevant issues raised by these enormous changes. This book is specifically geared to the needs of teacher educators and teacher trainees and it is earnestly hoped that the book will be whole heartedly received by the teacher educators and teacher trainees alike. With immense pleasure we would like to present this inspirational and authoritative book to stimulate and guide teacher educators and teacher trainees.
