the Museum's collections. Contributions, by members of the Museum
staff and by other art historians and specialists, vary in length
from monographic studies to brief notes. The present volume is broad
in its range, with contributions on such topics as four ancient

graphic sources for Meissen porcelain; three newly identified
paintings by Marie-Guillelmine Benoist; the 16th-century designs and
