Michael Jackson: The Man Behind the Mask: An Insider's Story of the King of Pop by Bob Jones, Stacy Brown, Stacy Brown

Michael Jackson: The Man behind the Mask is the INSIDE STORY of the truth behind the rumors, ugliness and mystery surrounding Michael Jackson.

The author, Bob Jones, is not a journalist conducting interviews but somebody who has known and been with Jackson for 34 years as his chief of Public Relations; by his side since Michael was 11 years old. Bob Jones is the one person with this unique inside view of Michael Jackson's world. To a certain degree, Bob Jones CREATED Michael Jackson. He created his image. This book, is a big lie. Bob Jones didn't make up the name "King of Pop". Anne Taylor did,as you can see on his interview with Oprah.Look it up on Youtube ( the interview ).

The one who is calculating is Bob Jones. Bringing as much dirt as he can to sell a book. Keeping quiet until Michael fires him and also, book was released during the trial. Anybody who tries to make money on somebody else`s fame I disqualify. He should look at the mirror.

"DO NOT RECOMMEND The book talks very negatively about Michael throughout and is clearly written by an old employee of Jackson who had a bad experience with being fired and now he's trying to get back at him. Bob jones wrecked Michaels reputation and spark. The way Jones speaks of Michael is sickening. Absolutely regret the read."

I read the overveiw of this book. Its stupid. Why in the world would anybody read this book. All these people wan is money.. These people need to lay off... Michael Jackson is a legacy by himself. He doesnt need people to write books about. He is the most famous person to have ever walked this earth. He made himself famous. He didnt need a friend to get him there. He had his family. His drive is what made him famous. He beacame The King of Pop by himself.

This is all you need to read to know all about the Jackson family. Great book.

The Man Behind The Mask is the Author of this book. The book is all opinion and speculation, no real facts. While reading this book, all the credibility fades as the bitterness spills over on paper. I'm not a big fan of Mr. Jackson, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that this author is all about trying to sell books on the back of an ex-boss that gave him the pink slip.

Michael Jackson¿s own former public relations chief, Bob Jones, has written a tell-all expose that will put to rest any doubt or ambiguity about what Jones describes as ¿Michael Jackson¿s many relationships with young boys.¿ In the book, entitled Michael Jackson: The Man Behind the Mask, Jones gives the previously guarded facts about the three high-profile accusations of child molestation against the superstar, as well as what Jones describes as Jackson¿s ability to pick out boys who were easily ¿woo-able¿ and carry on clandestine relationships with them. Jones also examines Jackson¿s fractured family life and his often spiteful relationships with his other famous siblings. This book, written with author, freelance journalist and fellow Jackson family insider Stacy Brown, is generating a buzz from every quarter imaginable as an authoritative source of unvarnished truth. And Jones has the credentials to back it all up. As former head of PR for not only Jackson, but also the family musical act The Jackson 5 in the years before Michael¿s solo career, Jones was not just an insider, but a confidant of the family¿and the only one to have never signed a confidentiality agreement.

Some may argue with this and may even refer badly to the authors, but the fact is this is a very telling book with great insight. They should have titled it: The Truth About The Man In The Mirror. Irregardless, the certainly lifted the mask on Michael Jackson.
