This book was Ms. Monroe at her very best. The book was about two people getting to know one another and beating all odds to stay together. This book proved Mick was a lone wolf. His mate, Roz, has trust issues too. Readers, stop comparing him to the Gabrinis. He is a Sinatra. Charles raised him. He is struggling to be the future husband, loving father, and good brother that Charles raised him to be. Unknown to Mick, he fell in love with a woman who is just like Jenay. Part of Mick's healing is to go back to Jericho and prove to Charles a "gangster brother" needs love and acceptance too. I have a feeling, his son Joey is going to break Mick's heart. The extra background on Sprig left me know she was troubled soul who needed my compassion. Excellen b
