Overview

Midas Touch: Why Some Entrepreneurs Get Rich - And Why Most Don't by Donald J. Trump, Robert T. Kiyosaki

In Midas Touch, Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki ask the question: What’s an entrepreneur’s most important job? The answer: creating high-quality, stable jobs.
And in today’s marketplace, “jobs” are in high demand — and so are the skills and the innovation and vision of entrepreneurs.

In a world of high unemployment and an economy that needs new jobs to recover, who isn’t hungry for a solution, something that will speed economic recovery? Many look to the government, but it’s becoming more and more obvious that governments can’t create real jobs. Trump and Kiyosaki believe that only one group can bring our world back to prosperity: Entrepreneurs. And, especially, entrepreneurs with the Midas Touch.

This book is for people who are thinking of starting a business or who already have one and want to grow it. Midas Touch teaches how to leverage five key components that can impact success in business:
Strength of character
F.O.C.U.S.
Brand
Relationships
Little things… that really count

I've read all the books by Kiyosaki and most by Trump. This book is mostly a compilation of summaries from their other books probably compiled and managed by Kiyosaki's team based on how it reads. If you've read Trump Never Give Up you will be practically reading the cliff notes of that book in this one. They did at least offer some new material under the brand category. But the most valuable part in my opinion is the section on business partners. Particularly the advice on buy and sell agreements between partners. However this section is just a tiny part. They are afraid to get technical in their books because its over the heads of the majority but its worth dedicating at least one chapter per book to the technical formulas that make all the difference at this point. The book "The Wealthy Code" did it for them.

Good book to read, but unfortunately nothing new in this edition. It is a rehash of Trump & Kiyosaki's other books with short bits of information. Unfortunately, while I am a huge Donald Trump fan his books are becoming bland with the same information repeated over and over. Also, if you want a book in a few days to a week, get the express shipping as if you order it by normal delivery it will take "forever" to get to you through the Barnes & Noble website purchasing.
