Midnight Rose was the first book by Lucinda Riley that I have read. She is now my favorite author. I loved the book. I read the entire book in two days because I couldn't put it down. Since then I have read The Lavender Garden and The Orchid House, which I also loved. I'm looking forward to my next read by Lucinda Riley.

I've read all of Lucinda Riley's books and even though Midnight Rose is the best, they are all wonderful. You don't want them to end! She gets you hooked by page 2!

I just don’t have words to say anything negative about this book. Only thing is l just did not want to end it. It was so good, loved all the characters, where the story line was going, and it was definitely page turner. I am definitely going to recommend this book to friends.

I have read all of Lucinda Riley's novels and this another that just doesn't disappoint! The past and the present are brought together with a plot centered around Anahita, who makes a poignant plea to her grandson upon her death, to uncover the truth to her past. Crossing India and British borders, in a time spanning from the early 1900's to present, this beautifully written novel has all the elements of a fabulous read - mystery, suspense, romance and drama, hard to put down, and leaving me with bated breath for Ms. Riley's next novel. My book club adored this one, as with all the others by this talented author, and collectively we highly recommend the rad to other book clubs!

I have followed this author for a very long time and looked forward to this book, but without giving spoilers, I was disappointed.
