This is a great story if you love faeries, adventure, romance, and amazingly interesting creatures.
Mieradome is a book about fairies set in a magical world. The main character, Amavia was taken out and hidden by his mother from Mieradome to protect her, but she couldnt keep her safe for too long. Amavia begins to have strange dreams and she is attracted again to this magical world. There, with the help of some friends, she will have to search and recover "The light" to save Mieradome. She will meet strange beings, fairies, dragons, there will also be a little bit of time for some teenage love...In this place she will discover an overwhelming truth and finally get to know who she really is. The begining is somewhat confusing and the story didnt really hooked me. It was a little to slow paced and there are some parts too complicated and with too many descriptions, slowing the action of the story and the plot. There are also some things that i think should have been explained sooner to make it a less confusing to the reader. The characters are well defined although at some times it was somewhat complicated to follow their lines of thought. Some questions remain unanswered and the ending is a real cliffhanger. Since its the first book she has written, I hope that in the next one her way of writing improves, making the story more fluid. I think the book could have been a little bit better, but i still think that people who likes to read stories about fairies will enjoy this book. 2.5/5
