The Million Dollar Shot was a very good book. The main Character Eddie Ball was put under a lot of pressure and I liked the choice he made. Between his mother and the manager of the company that was going to give him the money, he made the best choice for him. Everything is something he has to work for. People work with him to make the shot. I thought it was a very good book and its a book that you can learn from for you to get better. I felt that the author that wrote this book really knew what he was talking about. He knows a lot about basketball.

If you like basketball and like to read books about basketball then the Million Dollar Shot is for you. It is such a wonderful book! It teaches you to never quit and keep trying until you know you have really improved and to be proud of your work. You will have fun reading this book, trust me. So, I say this book is for everybody but especially for kids!
The Million Dollar Shot is about a kid named Eddie who started as a horrible basketball player for his school team. Eddie had a friend named Annie who is really good in basketball and she helped Eddie. One morning, Eddie was reading the newspaper (because Eddie likes to read comics strips), and he saw it. He saw the sweepstakes for Fickle Foods, which would give a million dollar reward to anyone who made a new slogan for Fickle Foods, and then made a foul shot during the N.B.A finals. Annie and Eddie worked on a slogan and sent it in.
The main characters are Eddie a kid who has to make a million dollar shot, and Annie, Eddie¿s friend. Another character is Eddie¿s mom, who is a helpless mother. Mr. Oakley Annie¿s dad works with Eddie¿s mom at Finkle Foods until they got fired by George Finkle. He owned the company, but fired so many people!
Did Eddie make the shot or miss it? Well, the answer is for you to figure that out! But I would recommend this book to my brother because he likes to read books about basketball. I really like this book because it reminds me of me when I was six. I had to beat one of my friend¿s in basketball, so then I learned how to play basketball and guess what? I beat him! I guess I just had it inside of me.

I love The Million Dollar Shot because the more you read, the longer it will take for you to put the book down. The story begins in gym class with his whole class. Eddie had the ball with only two minutes left of the game. He went for the shot. ¿Air ball¿ shouted the enemy team. The game was over. After the game everybody stared to call air balls, Eddie balls. Then at the end of the school year Eddie meets Annie Strokly. She is good at basketball and her dad, Mr. Strokely works with Eddie¿s mom. Then one normal after noon when Annie and Eddie were playing basketball Eddies mom came running with the news paper and told us to read the article that sys The Million Dollar Shot in big bold letters at the top. It said that George Finkle is willing to give away a million dollars to one lucky contestant if they can sink a foul shot at half tine. The lucky contestant will be chosen by a poem contest. Annie and Eddie were excided but Eddie¿s mom was mad because the roomer at the factory was that people would get fired so George Finkle can pull this off. Most roomers are myths but the next day when Eddie and Annie were in the bus going back home they met up with Eddie¿s mom and Mr.Strokly and Eddie¿s mom was right. George Finkle fired Mr.Strokly and Eddie¿s mom. A week later Eddie sends his poem which said, `¿How could the Pilgrims e¿er be contented, / when savory Finkles had not been invented?¿ Then a few months later, in the news, it said that Eddie Ball is the winner! I would like to tell you the rest of the story, but you have to read the book to find out. I liked this book because it was really exciting. I would recommend this book to people under the age of fifteen because it¿s mostly a children¿s book. It had great description and hilarious humor. This remembers me at the time that my brother¿s team was tied and there was only thirty seconds left in the game. So the game ended as a tie.

i enjoyes the book, but im a basketball freak. i dont think that kids who dont like basketball would enjoy it. i read it in one night i thought it was so good. by the way... when your reading it... pay attention to the foul shot tips. they really helped me. it was very good , but the ending was too predictable.

Ever wonder what it would be like to be living with your mother in a trailer park? Well this is the everyday life of Eddie Ball and his mother. Eddie goes to school and his mother works very hard everyday. One day Eddie finds that his mom¿s boss (Mr. Finkle) is having a million dollar shot contest at a NBA game. In order to get that far he has to write a theme song for the Finkle factory that his mom works for. If he is chosen then and only then can he shoot the shot. Will Eddie win, if he does will he sink the shot to catapult his mother and himself out of poverty forever? Read to find out in one of Dan Gutman¿s thrillers The Million Dollar Shot.

This book was really good. It could be funny at times, but serious too. What I really liked about it were the characters because, they weren't like any other characters that you would find in any other books. I really enjoyed reading this book. I would recommend this book to basketball lovers, because thats what pulled me into the book. But i would also recommend it to anyone else who would enjoy a good book!!!!
