I have a hard time believing that this author would publish let alone charge good money for such a poor product! She obviously thought a 19th century writing syle required her to use lots and lots and lots of words. The writing became so verbose it lost all coherent meaning. There was no proof reading, fowl was used instead instead of foul and outer instead of out of. And while trying so had to emulate the writing of the era, she would still use phrases such as "I had to up my game". The thing that bothered me the most is that at the end of this monstosity, which I finally gave up trying slog through, the author asks us to buy more of her books! If this book had been free, I would have understood that this was a new author seeking constuctive feedback. But when you charge people money they expect at least some quality in return.

I really enjoyed this book and think the Author was brave to have written this type of sequel as it is very different from Dracula but still has a grand story line to it. This book should be read with an open mind to satisfy the readers taste. I liked the plot and pace of the story and didn't see the ending coming which I really appreciate in a book as I like to be surprised. If you like surprises then this is for you.
