Easy to understand and use, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - the most-highly recommended therapy for depression and anxiety. I'm using this with my clients to cut therapy time (and expense), but it's useful even if you're not working with a therapist.

I strongly recommend this book on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. It provides a step-by-step approach that would help a person who is in CBT working on anxiety or depression. It helps to solidify the principles that they are learning in therapy and to provide tools that they will be able to use for many years. I highly recommend it.
