I have been reading several books lately on mindfulness so I was interested in this title with its 8-week plan. While the book doesn't reveal any earth-shaking new information, it does provide some unique ways of considering mindfulness. What makes this title different is the more practical step-by-step plan on how to adopt mindfulness in your life. I read this title as an electronic advanced review so I did not have the time to adopt the practices, but I am looking forward to purchasing the title when it is released to try to incorporate it into my life. The only negatives of this title are that it does have the overly optimistic "do this and your life will be wonderful" tone of most self-improvement titles. Also the URL provided to find the audio meditation tracks is a dead link. I am assuming that the site is still being worked on before the release of the title and the final version will have a working URL.

Excellent Book, with a great how to plan, that is working for me! I I think that chapter four's contents should have came before two and three, it is too confusing to have to go back and study while I am doing the exercises.I  am just  doing the first exercise! So good, so far!!

Outstanding book. Initially explains the mechanisms of how the brain processes emotions, thoughts and stress on a subconcious level. Then explains and gives you tools, Mindfulness breathing, the Body Scan and Dealing with Difficult Emotions. This in turn will affect every aspect of your life. It is so simple. "The truth will set you free" in Latin, Veritas vas liberabit. This book will help one uncover ones own truth. I've recommended it to a few patients with excellent results for those who were motivated. One of my favorite books and most useful in todays busy and hectic environment. Helped me to stop and smell the roses..,
