From USA Today Bestselling author Jennifer Fischetto comes the second installment in her hauntingly humorous Gianna Mancini Mysteries series...
Gianna Mancini does not have your average problems. Sure, her family is loud, her love life complicated, and her career still struggling to get off the ground. But Gianna has unique problems too...she sees dead people. And when a small explosion happens not far from her home, Gianna discovers the ghost of Thomas Sterling, son of the Sterling automotive empire. He refuses to move on to the afterlife until Gianna tells his fiancée, Serena, that he loves her. Not one to let the dead linger, Gianna locates the woman and passes on the message...but nothing is ever as simple as it seems.
One message from the beyond turns into a warning to the very much alive, and Gianna suddenly find herself trying to keep Serena safe. Between her duties to the dead, auditioning for a singing gig, and trying to get rid of Freezer Dude, a pesky ghost from her past, Gianna has her hands more than full. With help from her boyfriend, Julian, and her cop brother, Enzo, Gianna needs to find the killer fast...before she end up on "the other side."

Absolutely loved this one! Great job blending genres. Gianna has her hands full with 2 ghost, one is very "ghost" experienced and the new one is full of secrets but just lost the love of his life so he desperately needs Gianna's help. Her life is full of family tradition, mystery solving, an understanding man seeking a 2nd chance and the loving sibling pranks that are just "laugh-out-loud" hilarious....
This is a cute story. I loved Gianna and her family. I can't wait to read the next book by this author.
This is the first book in this series I've read, and it won't be the last. I fell in love with Gianna and her family and the crazy cast of characters, including the ghosts. Gianna sees ghosts and solves mysteries. She's funny, snarky, not always sure of herself, a real person who just happens to communicate with ghosts. The mystery was good and kept my interest. The ghosts add an extra element. I love Gianna's sometime boyfriend Julian. I want them to get back together, but not too soon. The push and pull between them enhances the story and adds just the right amount of sensual tension. I was sorry when the book ended. I felt I was part of Gianna's quirky family. Can't wait to revisit these characters.
Love, love, LOVE this series - yes, I realize this is only book two, but it is just that good! If you enjoy funny chick lit with witty dialogue and the paranormal, you have found a winner in this series. Gianna sees ghosts, talks with them, and assists them. Her family knows this, but doesn't like it. Her sort of boyfriend is still coming to grips with it, and the local police just think she's nuts.....and they don't even know about the ghosts. So when a murder victim starts hanging around her begging her to help his fiance, she doesn't have much of a choice - it's not as though she can send him to the next ghost whisperer down the street. She begins investigating his murder and seems to be doing a better job then the police. This one is a winner and fans of the genre will love it.
