A good ending to the series (at least it seems that way). The motive behind it all was a bit light on substance and didn’t quite make sense, but hey, all’s well that ends well.

The Miss Frost stories are my favorites from the Nocturne Falls series. This one doesn't disappoint. The "whodunit" aspect was not a total surprise, but there were some interesting twists to keep the reader guessing. The story delivers on all that you expect from a well-written "cozy".

The characters were so captivating and the story had a great flow to it, I couldn’t put it down! Granted, I’ve never read a Kristen Painter Nocturne Falls or Jayne Frost book that I didn’t love, but this one was extra special. I loved the trip to the NP and all the new characters. Definitely a must read!!

This is a great book; this is the sixth book in the Jayne Frost series written by Kristen Painter. Jayne Frost is a winter elf and also a princess. Her dad is Jack Frost and her uncle is Santa Claus. She is excited to be visiting the North Pole with Sinclair. Before she can accept Sin’s proposal she must first make sure that he can handle being her husband since she is the heir to the Winter Throne and will someday rule the North Pole. Things don’t go according to plan when they arrive, there are many citizens that don’t like Sin because he is a necromancer. So when there is an issue during the toy contest some of the citizens start blaming Sin since he is an outsider. Now it is up to Jayne and Sin to do an investigation to find out what really happened and to prove that Sin is innocent. This is a great book with a fun story and well developed characters. Once I started reading this book I didn’t want to put the book down until the end. If you love a paranormal books then you need to read this book and the other books in this series. I can’t wait to read then next book by this author. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Well, I know I sound like a broken record, but this is my favorite book in the series now. In fact, it’s my all time favorite of Kristen’s. Get ready to have your socks knocked off, and make sure you’re sitting down. Because there is going to be some really big things going down. Oh gosh, I’m dying to talk about it. I’m jumping up and down. But I guess I shouldn’t spoil it so I’ll just tell a little bit about the story. Jayne and Sinclair take a trip to the North Pole so he can see where she grew up and how life works in a palace where she will some day be ruling. Her decision of marrying Sin depends on how he takes it all. But everyone in the community isn’t a fan of the handsome necromancer. Some because of the fear of the unknown about him and his relation to death After all, we tend to fear what we don’t understand. They are just in time for the yearly Tinker Tourney. A competition for the best toy idea of the year. This is entered by the tinkers at Santa’s workshop. But it seems someone is cheating. How will they ever prove who had the original idea? Or is it just black magic that Sin is using to mess with the show? Jayne is tasked with investigating and clearing his name. We see a lot of her parents and Santa in this one. I loved the world and want to move there. It’s so magical. Even more so than the cartoons growing up at Christmas!
