Andrea/ Andy is 28 and has decided to take the position to be Blake’s matchmaker for a cost. Lacy is Andy’s younger sister and the one who showed her the ad. Then Lacy preceded to tell Andy her hours had been cut at work and they were almost broke and the bills would be coming up again soon needing to be paid. Lacy felt Andy was perfect for the job and set up an interview before Andy even knew about the job. Andy knew she had to go even though she did not want to. Once there she definitely feels not right for the job. But Blake is definitely hot and built his empire from nothing. But he is a jerk especially how he talks about women. He doesn’t care about love he just thinks it’s time to find a bride. He chooses Andy because he is intrigued by her. This story was good but started a little slow. It has a lot of humor I took me a while to even like Blake. I will say one thing instant attraction between Andy and Blake even if he is a jerk a lot of the time especially at first. I liked all the ins and out Blake and Andy went through. I recommend. I received an ARC of this story for an honest review.

Miss Match is sexy and hilariously funny. Laurelin McGee 's matchmaking love story leaves you smiling and anticipating visiting these characters again. The circumstances that brought Blake and Drea together is a soap opera in itself. But who cares. The attraction and chemistry between these two is off the charts. Will be reading more of Laurelin McGee.

This book was my introduction to this author and I must admit it left a pretty good first impression, so much so, I plan to read more of her books. Her writing style had a nice flow to it, and the storyline was very engaging, and had me interested the whole way through!! The characters were very well developed and had great chemistry which made the story quite a enjoyable read for me. It was a heartwarming tale, with plenty of blush worthy moments!! Roar-Out-Loud Funny I freaking LOVED this book, read it in two sittings. Amazing. This is an exceptionally well-written book that sucked me right in and held my attention the whole way through. Andy is a thoroughly captivating MC - intelligent but goofy, snarky yet sensitive. I warmed to her instantly. Blake, on the other hand, was a total douche at the start. First off, I thought he was going to be a rehash of Christian Grey, but thankfully he wasn't. Phew! As the story progressed, and as Andy started to break through his tough exterior, we got to understand the man behind the persona. It really was a mutual journey of self-discovery and as they got to know each other they learned so much about themselves. This book's biggest asset is the witty dialog and the hysterically funny scenes between Blake and Andy. It wasn't just laugh-out-loud funny, it was roar-out-loud funny. At least it was for me! I actually had to get up out of bed at 3 am because I was convulsing so badly with the effort involved in trying NOT to laugh. My husband was stirring in the bed beside me and I knew he'd kill me if I woke him up because I was basically crying with laughter at a book. That's how funny this book is. Seriously. Cue lots of drama, shoe throwing, tantrums, foot stomping etc. Loved it. There are plenty of steamy scenes in this book and enough romance to keep readers engaged. I also loved Andy's skill set - as an experienced HR practitioner with a background in recruitment I could relate to the role she performed and the skills she brought to the table. Made it that little bit more interesting for me. The plot doesn't hold any major surprises, or twists and turns; it's fairly predictable. The beauty is in the sublime execution of the story. Overall this is a fantastic read. Strong character development, steady pacing, funny dialog and excellent writing. If you love a good Rom-Com then this is the book for you. I received an ARC of this book via InkSlinger PR, St. Martin's Press, and Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

Miss Match by Laurelin McGee (actually Lurelin Paige and Kayti McGee) is a fun romantic romp. Andrea is smart, sassy and quite spunky - she stood up to her boss, Blake, when she felt that she was in the right. She has the ability to read people and know exactly who they are personality-wise. Blake is geek smart, business savvy, cocky and successful. He has a 5 year plan and the next thing on the plan is to find a wife. He hires Andrea to be his matchmaker - and the fireworks begin! The banter between Andrea and Blake often made me laugh. They have an electric attraction almost from the start but Andrea is not going to cross the line of having an affair with her boss - at least not at first. Andrea's sister, Lacy, was a great secondary character that helps to move the plot along and also helped me to understand Andrea. The plot flowed smoothly with comedy, romance and hot, smexy times. I was given an ARC by St Martin's Press through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match, but don’t bother me with the details, handle it like a business deal and schedule me to be at the church on time. Sound cold? Trust me, Miss Match by the duo who makes up the name Laurelin McGee is anything BUT cold, laugh out loud funny, yes, almost grab the tissues sad or cute, definitely, sassy, quirky and fun, check, check and check! The picture of hotness on the outside, but a damaged and frozen wasteland on the inside, business mogul Blake Donovan wants the perfect partner, a cutout of perfection, sans the attitude and feistiness of the woman he hired to find his perfect mate. Andrea is desperate for a job and even though Mr. Freeze looks to be hard to please, she never backs down from a challenge. But has she done her job too well? Has she begun to defrost Blake’s frozen heart only to discover HER perfect match? He is everything she rails against; she is the opposite of what he wants in every way. Get ready to rumble as these two square off in the arena of love and winner takes all! Two authors, two styles, all blended into one hot and hysterical read that is the perfect beachside must read! From quirky characters to an impossible not to love plot, once we are all settled in with the basics, we are jettisoned into a romantic tug of war, sizzling attraction that only gets hotter as it is denied and a few twists will have you almost in tears, either from laughing or having your heartstrings yanked on. I read to be entertained on as many levels as possible and Miss Match took me up the elevator to the penthouse suite with entertainment! I received this ARC edition from St. Martin's Press in exchange for my honest review.

What an enjoyable read. I could not put this book down! Andrea "Andy" Dawson has been looking for employment since she left her last job under interesting circumstances. Andy lives with her sister Lacy and are barely making ends meet. Lacy is a singer and works on occasion at bars. Lacy finds the perfect job notice for Andy, to be a matchmaker for the hottest bachelor in Boston, Blake Donovan, CEO of Donovan InfoTech. While Andy thinks this job is ridiculous, she does apply and actually gets the job. Andy will need to find a wife for Blake meeting certain criteria he has determined. At first I did not like Blake Donovan, but once you start finding out what he is really like, I loved him! I loved the things he typically kept hidden from everyone else. Besides being the alpha millionaire he had a really sweet side. As for Andy...what a great character. She was strong, funny, smart and told it like it is. Andy is very relatable. She seemed like someone I could easily be friends with. I loved how she kept putting Blake in his place. Such great banter between these two! And the chemistry was off the charts! Loved their connection. Overall a great, fun read. I would highly recommend this book!

Awesome read! Great writing in dual POV (which I love!)and the main characters of Blake and Drea have chemistry that pops from the pages. Tons of witty banter and humorous situations have you laughing out loud. Blake has decided he needs a wife (or is it a maid?) but putting in the meeting/dating effort is too much so he hires Andrea to screen potential woman and set up his dates. Funny thing though, since meeting Andrea nobody else seems to measure up!! This is one I definitely recommend for everyone.
