No Rock And Roll Fairytale This is no rock and roll fairytale. From childhood friends to high school sweethearts Sean and Anna thought for sure that a happy ending was what in store for them. That was until demands and ultimatums were made. It all started when Sean and his band had gotten the break there were waiting for but just how did Anna fit into this plan? I loved that these people were not “perfect” and that realizations that love is just not enough sometimes. That’s was made this book a five star for me…plus the fact that I love rock stars which Sean lived up to in every way. This is one you don’t want to miss and I can’t wait to see what’s next!!

Over time celebrities from the silver screen, small screen, sports and the music biz have produced romance rumors to feed the masses whether they were real or staged. It is only natural that they inspire and provide a backdrop for romance novels. In Missing from Me, one such story about forgiveness, redemption and epic love takes center stage. Anna and Sean’s relationship began the moment he saw her when they were in high school. But not even their larger-than-life love could keep them together. She wanted to be a lawyer. He wanted to be a rock star. And when a chance to have his dream was presented and she wouldn’t follow, Sean made a choice that would not only cost him his muse, it cost him years of regret. When Sean reappears because of her grandmother’s death, Anna must face her own choices and the fact that she still loves the man who crushed her heart. Can she find forgiveness when he says he’s not letting her go, that he’ll do anything to fight to get her trust back and convince her that she’s always been and forever will be his only love? This is my first Jayne Frost novel and it certainly won’t be the last. I loved both Anna and Sean. Anna was incredibly caring and understanding, some might even argue she was too understanding, but it was her inner beauty that stole Sean’s heart. Sean is a rock star, which implies he’s sexy and talented, but he’s also human and his uncompromising youth drove him to make a mistake. But it’s the flawed souls who strive to learn from their mistakes, better themselves and make a mends that make the complex characters who win me over. Plus, the incredibly sweet, cute, sexy and swoony moments exceeded the heartbreaking and angsty ones. Though Anna and Sean’s relationship was broken, their scorching and undeniably deep connection kept me rooting for them until they found their happiness. Furthermore, both characters not only rekindle their love, but also make great progress towards achieving life balance and goals. While Anna and Sean’s story dominates the action and draws you into their struggles, Frost incorporates delightful supporting characters from past installments and in particular, Sean’s best friend Logan who I hope to read more about in the future. Missing from Me is book #3 of the Missing from Me series by Jayne Frost. It is standalone contemporary rock star romance. It’s a sexy and touching, angsty and swoony second change romance. Told from both points of view and has a happy ending.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. OMG This book shattered my heart, yes there is one part I am sure other will not like because Sean cheated, BUT once you start reading the book and getting to know Sean and his past you will Kinda Sorta; realize what happened and why. I do not condone this but it is a very important part of this story. Anna and Sean have been in love forever, but when Caged is just about to leave on tour things start falling apart for them, When Sean leaves Anna without even a goodbye it shatters her, We fast forward 4 years and OMG the things that Sean has done are bad but when he sees something in the newspaper about Anna';s Gran he just cant help but let her know he is thinking of her, Anna cannot face the funeral, She just cannot say goodbye to her Gran. But afterwards she finally goes to the site, and when she sees the huge arrangement of peach roses (even with no tag on it of who it is from) Anna knows who sent them. When she goes to the Caged concert to drop off the thank you note she had no intentions of seeing Sean, But when he spots her in the crowd backstage things change. This was a book about 2 people that are soul mates, that truly love each other deeply, but had to take separate roads to find their HEA ending. I cried multiple times while reading this not only tears of sorrow but tears of frustration, joy and healing. This is a book that once you pick it up and start reading it you will not put it down until you get to the very end, and it will stay with you in your heart for days and days, This is a book that I will reread because I just cannot let go of Sean and Anna's story. I HIGHLY recommend this book on a side note I have to say I cannot wait for this author to shatter my heart again with Logan's story I know his is going to be heartbreaking and I hope that he finds his peace, his soulmate, his happiness as well.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Sean and Anna were high school sweethearts and lovers. He belonged to a band called Caged. Life changes and things happen, despite knowing she was the love of his life Sean moves on with the success of the band and leaves. It's only when the band's reputation needs vastly improving and he finds out that her grandmother died that he gets in touch with her. Much ash gone on between them, including cheating which I do not like so this was probably not the book for me to read. This is the first book that I've read by Jane Frost and, despite the cheating aspect of this book I would read another book by her as I do like her writing style. Written beautifully.

This is my first book by Jayne Frost and I'm hooked. Missing From Me is a beautiful love story that takes your heart on all the ups and downs Anna and Sean go through in their relationship to find the happy ever after. I love how Jayne Frost shows you that not every relationship is perfect and how it takes work and communication to make a lasting relationship. Favorite quote: Anna ~ "There are moments in life when everything changes. When the earth shifts, and the ground crumbles beneath your feet." I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I absolutely devoured this rockstar romance because from the very first page I knew that this book was special and would earn a place in my top 10 unforgettable books of this year. I really love when that happens! Sean and Anna have been together since high school but when Sean finally gets his chance to live his dream he leaves Anna behind and breaks both of their hearts in two. This is an emotionally captivating story about dreams, regrets and second chances that touched my heart and made me a true believer in redemption and the unending power of love. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary and unsolicited review are completely my own.
