Overview

In the days, just before Christmas, a tired Santa Claus is returning to the North Pole, when he discovers a dirty and underfed dog. Rescuing him, Santa nurses him back to health and names him Mistletoe. When Santa’s cat, Purrfect becomes jealous, he makes it look as though Mistletoe is causing trouble, leaving Santa with little choice but to lock him in a cage. But, then, the unthinkable happens, as Santa Claus falls asleep just in time for his big Christmas Eve delivery. Will Mistletoe be able to escape from his cage and save Christmas? Join us and find out!

Richard Wolf, a professional educator since 1966, has written this charming Christmas story for everyone who still believes, hoping to entertain and educate young readers.

About the Author

Rick Wolf has been a professional educator since September of 1966 and a Speech and Language Pathologist since September of 1968. He retired from teaching in June of 2013.

This text was written for those who still “believe” or those that want to provide enjoyment for those who still “believe.” The vocabulary is challenging for young listeners or readers, but vocabulary development is the key to comprehension and absolutely essential in the development of a competitive student. Mr. Wolf has a second book called “The Seven Headed Dragon” in the works that deals with the problem of bullying. He has also completed the text of a third children’s book, “Cam on the Lam,” the story of a 13 month old crawler who manages to hide successfully from his parents, designed to teach “opposites.” Finally, he is the playwright and lyricist of a musical based upon the Rafael Sabatini book, Captain Blood.

I hope all those who “believe” or want to “believe” again, enjoy this book.
