I enjoyed this but some what predictable - may get the next in the series to find out what happened to Edyis, Gerval and Orrick.

Eydis Ironmonger is a humble pilgrim enters Silverwood not expecting anything much to happen. Only to discover that she's been marked by The First Mother with the gifts of masks and lifetouch. On top of this Eydis is granted visions that depict the end of world at the hands of Raven King. Eydis speaks with the oracle only to be told she must find The Catalysts to prevent the destruction of Earth Realm. You would think Eydis's task is easy but far from it. Orrick of Kroadian is called the betrayer of blood awaiting his execution only to be freed. Orrick keeps Eydis company until she can lead him to the man really responsible for his imprisonment. The Raven King seeks the destruction of the world and will do anything in his power to see it happen. Who else becomes apart of Orrick and Eydis? Will the catalysts be found? Will The Raven King get what he wants? Your answers await you in Mistress of Masks. I really love fantasy novels. Fantasy draws me in and keeps me guessing as well as hungry for more. i love the world created by the author. The characters are rich, bold, interesting, and unique. I'm definitely looking forward to more of this series.

Good adventure, enjoyed all the characters and am looking forward to more of this story. Kept me reading pretty much non-stop all evening as I had to know what next! Rathanakar and his army were extra creepy, Geveral is a favorite of mine indeed and I enjoyed Eydis trying to figure out just what to do and how to do it. Well told and I'm ready to read more!
