About the Author
Linda Rawlins is an American writer of mystery fiction best known for her Rocky Meadow mystery series, including The Bench, Fatal Breach and Sacred Gold. She loved to read as a child and started writing her first mystery novel in fifth grade. She then went on to study science, medicine and literature, eventually graduating medical school and establishing her career in medicine.
Linda Rawlins lives in New Jersey with her husband, her family and spoiled pets. She loves spending time at the beach as well as visiting the mountains of Vermont.

Before time runs out can the murderer be halted! When Dean, Megan Stanford’s dad comes back with Mr. Douglas, a real-estate agent, Megan is astonished. Randall’s associate, wife and others show up, and it is evident, Randall’s intention is to sell his mom’s property. A dead person is discovered in the tide. Megan realized there was a deeper conspiracy at hand. This read is suspenseful and filled with twists and turns. Author Linda Rawlins descriptive storytelling made me feel like I was standing in the scene with Megan, feeling her emotions as the murder mystery unraveled. The characters are well thought out and current and there are exceptional word pictures of the Victorian manor. Great job. Bravo!
