In this brand new standalone comes the newest Rom Com asking, What can go wrong?

When my business partner asked me to do him a favor, I had no idea he was sending me on a blind date his mother arranged for him. I

walked in the bar, saw the woman drinking her third martini, and knew I was in for an eventful night.

After the unexpected second date, she didn't know my real name or who I really was.

By that time, the lie was too far gone, and I wanted her too much to admit the truth.

It's not every day you find out yourex-boyfriend is engaged.

I shouldn't have agreed to the blind date. My mother insisted, and I wasn't in any position to turn down a night out.

I will admit, I definitely shouldn't have ordered that fourth martini before said blind date even arrived.

The man turned out to be swoon worthy, handsome, condescending—a perfect distraction.

Then I found out he was a liar.

I've never been in over my head to this degree.

Then again, I've never been mixed up with love.

4 Star review of Mixed Up Love by Natasha Madison   This was a fun, sweet, quick read from Natasha Madison and one that I enjoyed. After having her heart broken Laney, reluctantly agrees to go on a blind date. Unbeknownst to her, her blind date has double booked himself so he asks his business partner Hunter to take his place. Hunter is reluctant to help his friend out but finally agrees, after all dinner or a drink in a public place, what can be the harm? When he meets Laney he is attracted to her but she has no idea that he is not Anthony, the man she is supposed to meet. What will happen when the truth is revealed? What follows is a bit of a roller coaster of a ride. When Laney finds out the truth she is devastated and Hunter (who is attracted to her) has a hard time trying to win back Laney’s trust. Their were moments I wanted to swoon as I really liked Hunter, he was a great character and Laney was a strong yet vulnerable heroine. There were moments of humour and the banter at times had me laughing. Mixed Up Love is a stand alone novel that is a fun light hearted read and well written.

2.5 Stars - I really wanted to like this After loving Tempt the Boss so hard it made it to my favorites-of-the-year list and then Cheeky totally rocking my world, I didn’t hesitate to pick up Unexpected Love Story which turned out to be a total bust. In fact, I even double checked to see if I mixed something up because it’s like this book was written by someone else. Chucking it to being a “one book can tank” issue, when I read the blurb to Mixed up Love I didn’t hesitate to request an ARC. I mean, people, I really, really loved the first two!! Sadly, this one didn’t work for me at all either. To me, it read more like a first draft where you then go back and flesh out the scenes and expand on the characters. The story had tons of potential, but then it goes off the rails. I’m not going to go into detail, because really, there’s no point to spoil this for someone who might not have the same issues I did. All I’ll say is that to me, Laney and Hunter both came off as immature, crazy people who would burst out in angry shouting bouts in totally unwarranted scenarios. Though I like the concept of having parallel stories happening at the same time, I didn’t feel this was executed in a successful way here, which just added to my confusion about what was going on with this book. I really hate having to say that for me, Mixed up Love felt underdeveloped and rushed. The characters had no depth, the plot lacked thoroughness in its setting and thus nothing really worked. Having had such a wonderful experience from the first two books, I’m positive my high expectations played against me, but for the time being, I’m taking some time off from this author’s work. *I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book*

Natasha Madison is a surefire way to spend a great couple of hours reading. Her latest, Mixed Up Love is another example of why I love to grab her work as quick as I can get my hands on it. Now, this summer Natasha blew me away with her Perfect Love series and Mixed Up Love did not overshadow those books for me, but it was a quick, sexy romance that had its share of swoon worthy moments as well as some of characteristically LOL ones that I associate with the books Natasha’s released to date. I enjoyed that I could read this one quickly and it didn’t go too deep since I have read (and worked on) several books surrounding this one that were DEEP. And no joke - I needed a break before I dived into more but such is the case for someone who’s an avid reader, blogger, and editor. I would tell you that I don’t think you can go wrong with a book written by this author and others who follow her tend to agree that she’s a solid 4 to 5-Star Rom-Com author. I wish that my review was met with more reviews offered by others who enjoyed the characters banter the way I did and a little less judgey reviews, but it happens to good authors regularly and I honestly can’t begrudge anyone their opinions - after all that’s what blogging is all about. But I can tell you the “Mixed Up” formula for the first date had me laughing and shaking my head. Also, while Hunter’s character was a little uptight about protection of Laney, it’s his job and you have to respect his dedication. Hell, my own husband sprouts a bunch of the stuff Hunter said to my single friends regularly! Laney was good at shrugging him off and/or calling him on his shit when the situation warranted… although, I can honestly say I would have said a hell of a lot more, in my own defense, this character and I are nothing alike. If you are looking for a fun, summer rom-com to read quickly I personally think Natasha Madison is always the way to go…

Hunter and Laney I loved this book! Natasha has done it again, bringing us a lighthearted, fun, flirty, and funny book! I seriously laughed my behind off and couldn't contain the grin on my face while reading. Hunter and Laney get off to a rocky start but the chemistry between them is electric. I love the secondary characters so much! I really hope she give us more with their own stories.

What a quick, cute and enjoyable romance from Natasha Madison!!! I have read Madison’s other books which are much heavier and emotional, but she did a great job with this much lighter read. She really proved what a versatile writer she really is. Hunter is asked by his business partner, Anthony, to take his place on a blind date which is completely out of character for him. Laney is his date, a date made by her own mother. She isn’t on board at first, but that all changes when she finds out her ex is now engaged! She thinks this might be a good distraction. Hunter is intrigued when he walks into to find his date on her third martini. So, begins this couples challenging and oftentimes, very humorous road to love. Laney is also intrigued with Hunter, but she thinks he is someone else. Hunter finds himself falling as time passes and is afraid to admit the truth. You can imagine the fireworks when she discovers the truth. There is one thing Laney can’t abide by...lies. Her life as she knew it was destroyed by one, and she won’t be a part of deception again. I also like when a book is told in alternating POVs as it gives me an in-depth look into the characters, and boy did I love these two. The banter was great, and each had a way of keeping the other one on their toes. I thoroughly enjoyed watching these two fall in love, and the epilogue is EPIC! I loved the additional characters. They each helped round out the story quite nicely. I’m hoping each of the guys and especially Rachel will get their own books in the future. Natasha Madison just came on my radar this year, and she has quickly become a favorite author of mine. So, naturally I’m early anticipating her next novel.

Just fun! That's it -- The story isn't meant to make you think and feel -- to get lost in the lyrical meaning. It's just fun, romantic, funny and swoony. Everything for the perfect curl-up-in-the-corner and get lost in a story to enjoy. Natasha Madison delivers two characters like oil and water that shouldn't have ever sat down longer than five minutes for a blind date. But they do. And they work. Both strong and know what they want and don't want in a romantic relationship which is polar opposite of each other. They rub each other a bit wrong but make it oh so right. For every romance story lovers need list, it has bossy alpha male and the girl who refuses to conform to his bossiness. Misunderstanding abounds and someone is going to need to do making up. The story is paced well to devour in an afternoon. Recommendation when you just need to be entertained.

3.5 stars There’s only a few words that can adequately describe this book. Cute, fast and kinda maddening. The characters were well written and the chemistry between them believable. They had some good banter and played well off each other. Laney is a dentist and has her own firm, she’s a self-made independent woman who is still caught up in the betrayal of her ex-boyfriend from two years ago. When news of his impending wedding reaches Laney, she is blindsided and lets her mom set her up on a date to get over it. Hunter is a partner of a security firm which he owns with two other friends. One of these friends, Anthony, is a Tinder junkie who has finally met a girl to hold his attention for more than one date. But, then Anthony’s mom sets him up on a blind date with Laney which he doesn’t want to go on and asks Hunter to take his place. Laney doesn’t know the intense, domineering man who appears at her table isn’t really her blind date. She is quickly taken in by him, even though he keeps warning her about stranger danger. Hunter takes over and soon they are back at his place and have a great time together. After spending the next few days together, things come to a head and Laney gets the wrong end of the stick. I felt like this part was overly dramatic and Laney’s reason for doubting Hunter just a little too convenient. Hunter was intense, extreme and driven. He worried about every little details of Laney’s safety, obsessively so, it was so over the top and downright annoying at times. The reason for his ‘cray-cray’ is explained, but for me, I just think it was too simplistic an answer to the way he behaved. Their relationship was just as fast and intense. Laney was a bit too quick to judge Hunter when the truth came out. I would have loved to say that this was a fantastic story but sadly for me, it just didn’t met the mark. This was my first book by the author so maybe I’m not used to her style of writing, something I’m sure her fans will agree upon.

5 Beautifully Mixed Up Stars!!! Natasha Madison has done it, yet again!!! I can honestly say that she's one of the TOP Rom-Com authors out there....and Mixed Up Love is a prime example of her talent! It's Rom-Com GOLD, with a side of heart and SWOON and a DASH of ANGST! What we have here is a fun-filled, laugh-out-loud romp of a love story that has a few twists that make your heart thump and swoon! Hunter works in security and is ALLLLL the things I love about a hero with attitude! When he gets roped into going on a blind date (as his best friend, Anthony) things start off a little rough...but very quickly escalate to hilarious! By the time the second date is over, I fell in love him, right along with an unwilling Laney! Laney is one of those heroines that I wish was MY bestie! She's funny and sweet, very down-to-earth and trying to get over a broken heart! SHE'S roped into this blind date set up by her mother....what makes it so funny is that it FEELS so real! If you've ever been on a blind date, you will definitely identify with the emotions! I loved the banter between Hunter and Laney (and best friends' Anthony and Sandy, too!) All in all, this was CLASSIC Natasha Madison! The ONLY thing I didn't like about this book?! It wasn't long enough....I wanted to spend sooooooo much more time with these crazy, lovable, "Mixed Up" characters that feel like friends!

Mixed Up Love is a short fun read. When Laney goes on a blind date with who she thinks is Anthony, she has a great time. Until she finds out the next day that Anthony is really Hunter. The truth throws her for a loop. Hunter agrees to go on this blind date because Anthony already has a date. He never expected for actually like the girl. Natasha has blown me away with another great book. I feel like I need more from this characters. I wish I could fall in love with someone the way Laney and Hunter do with each other.

Cute, funny, and bringing allllllll the swoon, Natasha Madison stole my heart again with Mixed Up Love! Anyone who knows me will tell you how much I love Natasha Madison’s writing. Whether she’s making me cry like a baby or, as is the case with this book, making me giggle and happy sigh she never fails to write a story that completely captivates me. The sweet is off the charts in this book meaning I’m currently wishing I could just sit and hug this book forever. Sprinkled throughout with moments that me literally LOL’ing on top of all that swoony sweetness made this one unputdownable! Laney was adorable. She’s totally someone I’d want to be friends with IRL. She’s funny, she’s kind, and she’s a bit quirky. She had me cracking up more than once, along with her best friend. Hunter starts off the gruff broody man that, let’s be real we all drool over, but soon shows his sweet side by being so freaking romantic I thought my heart might explode. You want swoon? Hunter is your man. What’s that? You want heat with your swoon? You’re good boo, Hunter’s got that covered too. Now, he’s not total perfection, he’s a man after all. He does man things like being over protective and sticking his foot in his mouth occasionally so if you need a little bit of good grovel with your sweet. Bam! You got it! Ok, so yeah, I lied, he IS actually perfect.

He's got her turned up, turned out and turned on. She's got him tied up in knots and their both scared to rock the boat. Mixed Up Love begins with the best of intentions, but one blind date later and everything is all messed up. Can love survive a deceitful beginning? Or will their chance at forever go up in smoke? For Hunter and Laney, crazy in love is an understatement. Their caught up in chaos. Madison sets out to make you laugh and ends up walking away with your heart.
