What a great story! I wasn't sure what to expect but it's an interesting twist on the fairy tale with a modern slant and while the sex is hot (and I mean HOT) the story is even better! Highly recommend!

This was a modern day retelling of Beauty and the Beast. It starts with Jolee, being duct taped and zip stripped in the trunk of a car. While being escorted to her own murder, there is an accident. Silas, the beast of the story, comes to her rescue. Silas is scarred and very self conscious of his appearance. He becomes her savior and she is his redemption in life. That being said, the love that develops between Jolee and Silas is very believable. The author took time and care in developing it. Though the love scenes were pretty hot, I would classify this more as romantica than erotica. This is a great short story that can be read in a few hours. The beginning of the story was a little choppy and poorly edited, but seamed to improve as the story developed ( or I just got used to it).

Selena Kitt gets better every outing and this wicked fairy tale is a wickedly terrific read. Once you start reading, you want to put it down as you need to know what will happen next from the killer elk to the acid vat it will take you on twists and turns that will surprise and chill you. If you are a Selena Kitt fan you have to add this to your collection and you haven't become a fan, this is a great way to become one. It is both sexy and romantic with the Selena touch. Get it!

I loved this short story. It's Selena Kitt so of course there's sex and hot sex, and while that is enjoyable, what I loved more was the story. Who couldn't love a story about a selfless girl doing what she can to make her friend feel more comfortable? And the father who supported her AND showed Rachel she didn't have to hide from him. This story made me so emotional, and I don't think it's easy to pull that level of emotion from a short story. Well worth the buck!! Now I'm going to go cry tears of joy some more. This is one I'll continue to think about, and not just because of the sex!! Selena Kitt is very talented and her stories are very enjoyable.

I couldn't put it down until it was done. The characters you easily fall in love with. You sympathize with them, cheer them on and sit on the edge of your seat waiting for them to give in to their feelings and sexual desire for each other. The sex scenes are explosive. Well written and very hot. My only complaint is that there wasn't more erotic moments between them. An amazing story from a gifted storyteller.

I adore this book. Out of all the fairy tale series, this one is definitely my favorite. Beauty takes a close second. I couldnt stop turning the pages, especially with such well written sex scenes practically starting the story. Every single erotic scene in this story will draw you in. Enjoy!

Awwwww.... This just topped my sweetness meter, and then there was some great sex thrown in there too. You just cant complain about that. Selena Kitt is now one of my favorites. I will definitely read more of hers. I just wish they were longer.
