Thumbs Up! This is a book penned from a deep spiritual thirst. I found it fascinating. It reflects the author’s personal and mystical experiences as the sub-title indicates, but in doing so it documents how Universal Intelligence finds ways to communicate with us through individual and unique encounters. Anthes formulates his own truths from the peak experiences he has had. He suggests that we may all have an innate drive toward an altered state of consciousness, a hunger for the spiritual. Some of his analogies are vividly portrayed – like purifying our inner thoughts in the same way as our need to clean up the polluted rivers in our environment, and how our drive to create and expand mimics the very life force in nature. Although Moments in Time repackages the wisdom of authors like Chopra, Braden, Castaneda and others, one wonders if the author arrived at similar conclusions because he is well read, or because his mystical experiences tapped into the same knowledge. I’m betting it was the latter and now after reading the book I’ll be watching for how the Universe responds to me too.
